The two stringed instrument is a Morin Khuur, or a Horsehead fiddle. The Bow & Arrow shaped 3 stringed lute that is also played is a Tovshuur. These three instruments have been modified by the band, so they are not the traditional shape or look.

I have never been a fan of heavy metal. But these guys are the exception. I enjoy their different sound. Mongolian throat singing with very cool instruments.

Josh. I love the Hu so much. You "have" to do Song of Women ft Lzzy Hale. You'll love it. it is their only song with a singer singing in English that I personally believe is a step up from their original song. Lzzy is able to harmonize very well with the throat singing which is a sight to behold.

The Hu is a Mongolian folk rock band formed in 2016. With traditional Mongolian instrumentation, including the Morin khuur, Tovshuur and Mongolian throat singing, the band calls their style of music "hunnu rock", hu inspired by the Hunnu, an ancient Turkic/Mongol empire, known as Xiongnu in western culture. Some of the band's lyrics include old Mongolian war cries and poetry

The HU are a Mongolian Folk Rock band, formed in 2016 in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, and as a trivia point, is the coldest capital city in the world I've never heard of this band until now and they are for sure a different form rock band with powerful voices I hope this will be new rock for the future.

Yes 🙌🏽 I started listening to them maybe 🤔 right after I began reviewing DIANA ANDKUDINOVA’S music 🎼 maybe 4 years ago. They just had YUVE YU and later I seen their CCHENGIS KHANN TRIBUTE song but I showed them to my oldest daughter and they look somewhat like our TRIBAL PEOPLE as I’m INDIGENOUS NATIVE AMERICAN and I was pleasantly surprised 🤔🥹. So, any ways they are absolutely incredible. They’re playing traditional instruments MORIN KUR which has two strings and it use to be a male and female horse hair. One ☝🏽 of the most followed vocal coaches said, she would love to see DIANA collaborate with the HU. HU means human in MONGOLIAN…I thought that was interesting because my TRIBES name means original people. Keep reacting to their music 🎼 they are definitely unique and their throat singing skills and musicianship is top 🔝 level. Thanks for sharing your support and positive comments on this REACTION.

So...was the Mongolian language invented fro Heavy Metal, or was Heavy Metal invented for the Mongolian language?

At least seems metal is the perfect fit for Mongolian throat singing. The language itself isn't as guttural as throat singing makes it sound.

as a mongolian i can tell you that, Mongolian language really good fit for rap or rock. kind of similar wild sound like German

Little bit about the context of the music video: Mongolia has a major polution problem, so much that despite only having a population of a few million, its capitol city is the most poluted on Earth, mostly due to mineral refining and industry. I believe they slightly altered the context of the original song to critique the greed and disregard for the beauty of Mongolia by their government. And modern culture as a whole I'd guess too. Oh, and the 2 string instrument is a traditional Mongolian fiddle called the morin khuur!
