Man when I was a kid love action was in my cassette player, playing over and over. Lol the human league was and still are my all time favorite 80s pop group. They are all musical geniuses. They were right there with Duran Duran, culture club, flock of seagulls, Gary numan, there were so many to list here. I always thought the girls in human league were so beautiful. Wow stone cold foxes...
Funny, @@RocStarr913 it doesn't seem like Jam and Lewis had an idea about what The Human League were about and did the Jam and Lewis thing with Human League colours...
@@lextual The Crash album was an interesting experiment. Some of the songs were really good and the two different styles meshed incredibly there. The Human League has said Jam & Lewis and the album completely saved their careers and it wasn’t exactly the most pleasant experience them working together.
this song reminds me of being in my early and mid 20's, hanging out with friends on Friday and Saturday nights either at a diner, bar or one anothers house
I had the privilege of partying with Laura and her band at the Ashworth in Hampton Beach, NH. Nice people.. Loved Fascination, and a couple others by Human League.. Thanx
@@gregbrown3283 I don't know about that. It's him that took the band in that mainstream direction when the original band split. He couldn't have been that worried about the fame.
It took me 6 tries to find this song after they played this beat in the middle of time out during tonight's Sunday night football it was a good one. Just sayin
BYA BYA
This vid reminds me of the 1985 series "Rock 'n' Roll Summer Action" (aired on ABC, and apparently a Dick Clark production). It invites a cross-reference to the "Dancin' on Air" (local to Greater Philadelphia; had a sister series, "Dance Party USA" on basic cable) episodes set on the South Jersey coast.
I don't know about anyone else but the girls are doing typical 80's dancing...especially the one on the left. When I danced my kids would always comment on my arms... "Why do you have to move your arms like that, mom?" Haha
At least go through the motions right, Mr. Bass player, not even plucking the last note of the main lick. Almost every time. He also doesn’t look like the original guy and neither the video guy nor the track slap the solo. Ugh. The rest killed it.
Wow, Joanna has her own solo spot! And a real drummer (Jim Russell) in a futurist band - - thats obscene! :p (Depeche fans are still complaining over Christian Eigner)
