The first time I met a muslim who told me about what he believed about Abraham, Isaac and Ishmael and the life of Jesus and so on, I was stunned. It was like meeting someone who believed that Television works because there are ghosts inside a box inside the TV set or that the sun is a chariot some guy rides across the sky in, or that John Lennon was a member of The Beach Boys and Elvis was the first President of the US. I tried to tell him that he gets so much wrong but he just said my bible was corrupt and got very angry with me. I did not press him further for fear he may blow me up in my sleep some night. This muslim by the way was a college student in a prestigious University in my hometown, he was no dummy. That's when I realized that there is a whole world of people out there who are living in the dark. Scary.

A few years ago, being involved in calligraphic art, I began to study Arabic. I learned to read and write quite well. In that same period I happened to go, with a friend, in the house of a family of young Muslims. In their house, hung on a wall, there was a picture containing the first "sura" of the Koran. So, instinctively, I started reading out loud. They were greatly amazed that I, a Westerner, could read Arabic. But as for me, I was deeply amazed because I realized that they, even being about thirty years old, could not read! It was that circumstance that made me realize that many Muslims have never read the Koran.

I'm jewish, and I have never heard of this Zabur outside Islam. I was quite taken aback, when a muslim first time asked me about the Zabur.

Islamic Dilemma: If the Bible is corrupted and not the Inspired, Authoritative, Unchanged word of God, then the Quran is False and Islam is a lie as the Quran appeals to the Gospel and Torah and claims that it is inspired, authoritative, etc. This means that Allah and his word lied or was mistaken. If the Bible is the Inspired, Authoritative and Unchanged Word of God, then the Quran is False and Islam is a lie, for the Bible contradicts almost all of the Quran. Either way, whether the Bible is the Word of God, or is Not the Word of God - Islam is False. If your religion implodes upon itself, it might be an idea to get a new one.

The Qur'an clearly states nobody and nothing can alter Allahs previous books handed down, and yet Muslins are taught the Bible is corrupted, not to mention that Muslims cannot even point to WHERE this Injeel in book-form is, that was supposedly "handed to Isa (Jesus)"! What I find absolutely hilarious about the Bible being "corrupted" is the fact that we discovered Gospel scriptures predating Mohammad and it's the same as the Gospels we have today. I've seen Muslims claiming John the Baptist is a islamic prophet but they also claim that John the Baptist corrupted the gospel.. Haha.. They also claim to honor all prophets equally but only Muhammad is mentioned in the shihada.. I don't think they understand what equally means or exactly what John the Baptist did. He literally Baptist the Son of God and believed that Jesus was the SON OF GOD and bore witness to this. Yet Muslims claim to honor him while calling him a lier and saying he corrupted the bible.

The Gospel Book in both Orthodoxy and Catholicism is just that--it is the Gospel Book where the bishop or priest reads the Gospel during Divine Liturgy or Mass. It is a collection of Gospel readings used for it. And in Orthodoxy the whole Divine Liturgy (except for the Creed and Our Father) is chanted, which might be what Mohammed has heard and copied for Islam (I mean the chanting aspect). You can watch Divine Liturgy here in YT especially the Greek ones to see and hear what likely Mohammed has heard then.

As someone who has left the church and have sinned and have had experiences in this world that is ungodly. I can say that seeing what the world has become and where it is going to, it has turned me back to the Bible and to Jesus, The Only Messiah and the Only one who can rid the world of the wicked. Things in the Bible never made sense or didn't sound kind or loving before but seeing what humans can become I can see why God in His infinite wisdom and mercy have made the laws and commands on us. The Bible more and more believe has not been corrupted but the teaching, interpretation and perspective and additional agenda driven elaborations made during church services is the corruptible aspects of false Christianity. The Bible it truth. The teachers are false prophets. God said there would be those. The only thing that will save anyone is to read the Bible with your own eyes and ask God to show you the scripture in life. And boy does He ever show you what it really means. Not what the churches says. The churches for the most part lie about the meaning of the word. But all in all. The Bible is true and people are corruptible.
