Lawd have mercy they were cuttin' a rug back then!! That queen could move!!! Her energy was out of this world!! Rest well Ms. Turner, job well done. Thank you for your legacy. And because of technology, we'll have you forever. 🥺❤️
little story about Tina....back in the 80's I had a job as a helper putting up and tearing down the stages for A listers that came to my city. After an incredible show Tina came out and thanked us for all the hard work! Class with a capital "C"
And grandma was fine in the 70s reason why I say that because my grandmother on my father's side was 29 in 1970 and my mother mom was 27-28 ,it was there era my mother era was the 80s when she was 20 in 1983 but this opened the doors for her era.
Yeah that lyin devil could walk on water right or is that where you finally draw the line fo a devil is a devil an she lyin an Ike aint. Just watch the interviews all those interviews after he did his time and they lyin and he tellin it the way it was where ALL OF A SUDDEN his truth don't match theirs because their truth is broken jaws can still sing.... Accusations from afar = double dipping mane... ANNIHILATION "of" interceptUS now²: A case lecture of facts vs theorum of associated facts; value vs evaluation of the NOW "For what is friend other than someone you know more than foe"
Despite what was going on in their personal lives, you’re looking at the first black inventor/creator of the Rock N’ Roll music, and the first ever female black Queen of Rock N’ Roll!! ✊🏾 🎶 🎙 🎸
@@MrDaRiAn21 I wouldn't say Ike was the absolute first to invent rock and roll but he's certainly one of the real deal pioneers of it like Louis Jordan, Little Richard, Fats Domino, James Brown that's right even James Brown the man came out in 1956 that makes him a pioneer of rock and roll too not just soul and R&B and Funk. No Doubt about it black people invented rock and roll but we also invented Blues and Jazz too all three cornerstones of modern American music. ✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽
You wish Ike and Tina didn't have the problems they did because they were a hell of an act together. Tina's dancing and singing with Ike's production were superb.
Triple threat Queen! GREAT Singer, Actress and Dancer!!! What I will remember about Ms. Turner is that she choose happiness. Invisioned a better life and received it. Rest in Peace Queen of Rock and Roll!!! 1939-2023
She is the queen of rock ! Nobody did it like she did the rest just stand still an sing she took it to another lever so she is the queen of rock ! Dancing for long periods of time even when she wasn’t happy at home so she had fun on stage
Yes her and James it would’ve been a good collaboration I mean James was a ALLEGED woman beater too so he could’ve talked too Ike maybe and got that shit frfr
Raw talent. Rare and unbelievable too. No others like them. I'd be scared 😨 to be too close to the stage and get hit by Tina or one of the Ikette's 🦵 kicks.
The so called celebrities of today, ain't got a thing on Tina and these young ladies. Beautifully built, no fake breast and butts, and not too much makeup. And TALENTED, for REAL ‼️. REAL MUSIC🎁. Whatever happened to raw talent? Thanks Tina, Ladies and Ike👑. REST in GOD'S LOVE QUEEN TINA TURNER 🎁
I was born in 1983 abs unfortunately I did not get to grow up with musicians and singers who really put on a show for you… besides Tina Turner, Diana Ross is my #1 celebrity, I see her most every year when she stops in Baltimore and even she doesn’t really give a show, when the last song was song, she literally just walked off the stage, no « goodbye », no « thank you Baltimore for coming to see me », nothing. It was almost as though the audience didn’t exist but I still had a MEGA good time, I never thought I’d get to see Diana Ross live and I did, three times I missed Tina Turner when she came to Maryland/DC in 2001, she came in April/May, I was a senior and HS and couldn’t take the time from my college paperwork and finals…
Thank you for providing us with the best entertainment that we could hear, see. and enjoy. Rest in Eternal Glory Miss Tina Turner. You will truly be missed. 💮🌹🌺🌻🌸🌷💐🌼❤️🙏🏾
Actually, she was always thin, no fat, all muscular development. All calisthetic repetition in high intensity. In the '80s, black women in their 50s and 60s years old would say she had big muscles in her arms and everyone knew she had come from working in the farms in the south and she never lost her muscle development from adolescence.
It just hit me that she was the female James Brown when it came to singing and dancing. I wondered if her James Brown ever performed on stage together.
Yes they did, they had a dance off just like the one you see Tina and Jimmy Thomas doing in the first clip of this video, you can read about it in James Brown biography
