24:30 Mental health in Greece is quite looked into especially when you're a teen. I know that first-hand. It still has a shit ton of waiting list for testing for special needs but about depression (mostly) you're put on the top of the list and in like a day or two you can see a public therapist free of charge. Greece takes a W for this.

It's sad seeing so many people just fall down a rabbit hole of mental health deterioration. I remember being severely depressed to the point of not leaving my room, not showering, and barley eating anything. I just wanted to wither away and stop existing, but my family, friends, and later on bf helped me get out of that. I'm so thankful for them helping me. I don't know where I'd be without them. It's sad seeing others who either didn't get help or got the help too late. Sometimes, you have to force people to get help because they're too far gone.

The teenage years I feel is *_the_* most important time to take therapy into consideration for a growing child because they're still trying to find themselves and slowly adjust to adulthood. The feelings are going to be spiraling and they can be very impressionable to outside negative influence. I really wish that mental health (in general, not just for certain ages) was taken more seriously and that less people would automatically see going to therapy as a bad thing.

I remember going into the hospital for suicide but got a “you’ll have emergency appointment in five days”. I was extremely suicidal at the time and I’ve had many experiences with the medical system where I didn’t get what I needed, mental health problems in our society likely isn’t going to change sadly. Still dealing with it to this day, I’ve also probably have neurological problems. I guess we can hope things get better overtime.

I feel bad for these guys even if they're horrible, because I have a similar story, though I'm female. I'm quite, neurodivergent, and have anger issues. I also went down the "people are so sensitive these days" rabbit hole. I went through a phase of major guilt, and I never wanted to hurt good people, which kept me from becoming like these guys, but still.

They feel hated from whatever reason which can cause someone to not care, looking at things poorly. 1 of the coping mechanisms can be js becoming antisocial to retaliate. They can feel so hated and not care so much they hate others so much to see them also as useless. This will make them violent sometimes killing others. The anger can be too much.

I have all kinds of mental illness, not once have I even ever thought of murdering someone. Mental illness isn't responsible for this. The individual is. You're responsible for your own actions whether you're mentally ill or not. There's only a few cases I can think of where someone can't control themselves, and Autism isn't one.

The thing that is so devastating is that dude did not want help. The damage that the incel community did to him set him down a path that he was set on. While his mom or ANYONE around him could’ve told him to get mental help, he was never going to want to get better because of how that community demonizes men talking about mental health or doing anything to get better and encourages deeply unhealthy behaviours.

Autism and other neurodivergent disorders are NEVER to be blamed for the actions of others. It's not the disorder that makes people commit crimes. It's the person and even since there ARE disorders that affect the way people behave, their empathy etc it's still not to be blamed on the disorder but the person for not getting the help they needed and resulting in crime

Tbh, I want to date smart guys that can be my potential husband. Back then, after he quited his job, I immediately phoned him up for a date because I want someone to talk to about(yea abit on trauma bonding). And he’s not rich, he’s not skinny, and he’s not a super model. He’s just passionate in his field of profession, which I dearly admire. In the UK, it's normal for the mental health services here provided by the government to shove you into a waiting list that last form months to years, to this day, i still haven't gotten the help i needed lmao, i'm struggling without the support and consideration i'm fully aware i need it doesn't justify this guy's disgusting crime but it easily could hve been prevented if he had gotten help earlier (the permission given for him to have a gun was also pretty ridiculous, jesus god)
