The individual(s) who decided to hire McKenna made a very smart move considering his inexperience in club management. The new owners understand the club's position in the local community and as for Kieran McKenna, he just gets Suffolk people; he fits in so well.

McKenna isn't the first aspiring young manager to establish his reputation at Ipswich. The supporters are under no illusions about the challenges of the Premier League but the club will thoroughly prepare for the forthcoming season.

It’ll take a lot of sacrifices and challenges to survive the Premier League but the spirit of the club and ambition from the owners is certainly making survival look possible

Every year the championship give me some great stories to pay close attention to through the season and this season did not disappoint absolute maddness at both ends of the table Lecister going back up with the strongest performances like Fulham in 21/22 Burnley in 22/23 and true underdog stories like Lutton last season and ispwitch this season! Excited to see what the tractor boys can do in August!

@@ChristbaitRising He has done a fantastic job. I’m a West Brom ST holder and equally have concerns about Carlos Corberan and his team being poached. At least you can relax - nervy play-offs for us - getting my ticket for the away leg today. You’ve had a terrific couple of seasons. I always enjoy my visits to Portman Road.
