Loved hearing from Ian, what a great interview and what fun memories! Get him the right questions, and he could be on for ten minutes every cast. Great cast guys! Go Irish!
Ian Book tried his best every game! Great scrambler! Showed some guts! He's the winningest ND qb of all time! How many of us would have loved to play at his level? Hat's off to Ian Book!
Love the show fellas! Great interview with Book. I do think you guys should get Ty Hildenbrandt on the show soon. He needs some help and convincing on how good this team can be!
Alright, you got my boy Ian Book! I'd go so far as to say ND's all-time greatest QB. Too bad we couldn't have had the 12 team field when he was playing. We would have been regular participants.
@@westonhull7595 Okay, fine. I don't know about 'wild', but at least debatable. I don't what all the numbers are, but statistically, he's like the greatest ever overall right?. Wouldn't that count for like a huge amount right there? And all we did is win with him as the starter. I think if he had been a top HS prospect, he'd be considered the GOAT. But nobody really wanted him, so he gets minimized.
He has the most wins, and is definitely under appreciated by the fans, but no way is he the best ever lol. Outside of Clemson 2020 and the end of VT 2019, no real great wins or even iconic moments with him as the starter
Ian was definitely underappreciated during his time at Notre dame, and he is just an all-around good dude. My only complaint, if you want to call it that, is you missed an opportunity to ask him about what the heck happened in that 2019 Michigan game. I believe at one time you promised a deep dive into that debacle.
Can't wait for ESPN to tell me 500 times that ND has a 67% chance of making the playoffs and showing the same chart. Oh and Love Ian showing up, always had that dog in him. ☘
I think the ND defense knows they will be challenged on Saturday. I believe they will rise to that challenge. Navy throws the ball 13-14 times a game. They are throwing it a bit more, they are not airing it out. ND 38-24.....ND rushes for 250= yds. and Navy scoring a couple TDs late when subs come in.
