very interesting invention. and at first glance it seems simple. the back of the boom is clearly pressed. but it is equally important to keep the front of the boom pressed down so that power is not lost. very interesting project. respect.

That thumb ring is actually an amazing piece of tech , it's exactly the same as using a modern day release that uses a set of steel balls in a small piece of steel that of course is just a literal trigger to release or fire the bolt or arrow. Very interesting. Wish I had known about that during my days of hunting it would have been a great alternative to the release that I was using cheaper to make for myself and probably much less prohibitive to get hooked up just so onto the bow string to use . Thanks for the info , until we meet again hoo, hoo, hoo, hoo 🎉🎉🎉... Having to do some holiday season catch up. As Matter I fact one year I was hunting whitetail deer and a doe walked in to my line of fire , I drew back and heard a sniffle, snuffle, sniff , and low and behold I had the Doe's spotter standing there sniffing at me, at the same time I had shot her mother died nephew shot her sister, so I had to grab the fawn and dispatch it mercifully later that evening, I. Know it couldn't have lived alone in the wood by itself it was way to young, however is was a good day for myself and my nephew as we were able to take home over 350 lbs of meat for our families that day and the fawn did get used as well it was used a soup meat for a homeless shelter and they were able to salvage nearly 100 percent of the animal using it for soup and stew meat. So very fortunate for all of us .

I’ve always been more of a gun and blade guy, but I would definitely buy one of these because I feel like this would help with my abysmal handling of bows.

The main reason for the finger tool is for the ease to hold the string out for a longer time, it helps aiming as it takes a while to do on horsebacks and saves you alot of stamina.
