@@hardfugoo1 i wish i would've known while it was happening. Can we do anything now to help him? I'm still a huge advocate behind buying (affordable) clothing with him all over it, minus the cost to produce, all proceeds go to him.
Jordan Peterson is the dad of RU-vid, Joerg is more like a fun uncle who lets you get away with getting extra candy or playing violent videogames when you aren't supposed to.
@@malenotyalc I'm pretty sure he always picks up the obvious ones. Re-usable even. Most people that do machining/carpentry/etc. have a Magnet on Wheels, with a handle so you roll it around the yard and pick up nails/bolts/filings or...Slingshot ammo.
I'm aware he does this Carvis, but I'm implying he shoots so frequently that the ball bearings he fails to find will amass to such a level that future generations can mine his property for iron ore. It is a joke. One day you will laugh and get the joke. ;) We can hope.

@@4philipp I don't think that's how it works. A weapon is a weapon regardless of whether it's a 'prototype' or not. The only way I see this working is if he had a gun smithing license or something similar(under which he would CERTAINLY need to be operating INSIDE the law) otherwise bye bye gun smith license.

@@ASSman864 there's a little bar at the front which helps him hold the rail in place with his left finger. The bow version has a lock and lever instead.
Jeorg, you come up with brilliant and creative designs....extremely well-thought out and innovative. The way you designed the feed tube to double as a handle...is clever. The magnet ball retainer...is genius. But the ball-stopper tongue is simply..... inspired.
All the best inventions were once folklore to be in peoples garages and basements. But thanks to this invention we are staring at we have a whole world of geniuses wanting to share for the fun of it! Awesome example of leadership and fun! Well done Joerg!
Rufus was incredible with a sling shot, shooting coins out of the air, there’s video of him cutting blades of grass with a sling shot, even announcing which direction it will fall, he’s was the best with a sling shot!
Nothing would give me more pleasure in life, than to sit down and have a beer or 3 with Joerg and his closest, and spend some serious slingshot R & R with these inventions. Amazing man indeed. May God Bless him.
Hand crafting is better /more accurate .and tbh I bet it takes him barely anytime to cut the pieces. Its mainly sanding and such that would be time consuming . but you would have to do projects like these finished by hand for the quality and working smoothly
I always enjoy seeing your ingenuity. I come back for more! For this particular project, I hope someday you will consider adding a side or bottom feed system for the ammunition, and a sighting system to the top. 👍🍻🍻

@@user-mn2cu7yy7q That would reduce the overall power. +1 ball of the same size=half power. So either he would have to add rubber or use multiple but smaller balls, thus needing a pouch/canister.
@@user-mn2cu7yy7q If you dont change the rubber, you apply the force of one ball to two balls. This way one ball of the two balls has half the power of the one ball shot on its own. More balls = more mass but less speed. From the victims perspective: Bullets are effective because they put all of their energy into one small area. If you spread out the pressure on a wider area, you wont even be able to hurt your target. In case of the balls you also spread out your power (same pressure applied to double the area instead of one), thus halving the "effective" power. The formula im referring to is: p=N/m^2. Double the balls -> double the space. So i guess i should have said effective power instead of just power (sorry).

@@alekshatz6325 In the books, it's not really the Gunslingers religion, but some kind of belief like that, I can't really explain it properly, but the father is VERY important to the Gunslinger, almost like a God. And to "forget his face" kind of mean that you have lost your way, or disappointed the Father, or basically sinned or generally bad.
