Why my comment about skipping breakfast and the link to the study about that is being deleted? whomever you are that is doing that, have the courage to respond and if there are any rules as to posting scientific studies on this channel then outline them so that we know what are accepted instead of just deleting stuff. Censorship is not the answer, let's have an honest and open discussion, let's be accepting of different points of views, and let's not limit knowledge being shared among people. If the purpose of these videos are to educate, then let's educate rather than limit what people should be able to read and learn.

Really enjoyed and timely for me as I am getting back on track after backsliding for several weeks. I have fibromyalgia and what I eat matters as it’s the difference between pain and no pain. My regular GP and specialist won’t endorse fasting, but also are offering nothing up but prescription pain medications. This helped with my motivation to get back to doing what is working for me for pain management. Thanks for this one! BTW, reading your book, Greatness Mindset and know what my meaningful mission is. Working on all of this simultaneously while doing my thing, training pet dogs. Thanks for all you are doing to be of service to others.

Now i am confused about fasting. Just in this episode i heard three different things about fasting that to some degree all three contradict each other. Can we get a definitive answer/study about fasting please? can you Lewis have just one guest who can put it all together?

@@DebbyZ76 I forget his name, but he's been running a fasting clinic for years. I just feel his post fasting protocol/dietary expectations of no meat, salt, sugar or oils is beyond extreme and only sustainable in his clinic.

The first 3 guys all have 3 different things to say. One says we shouldn't go vegan because it's not sustainable. The middle says moderation, eat real food, cut tge processed. That's a given. The third talks about plant based whole food and water fast. It's all too much. Wtf???? Ans I haven't fully heard what the 4th guy has to say.🤦‍♀️ Oh !!!!! Now the 4th guy says breakfast skippers have more disease and live shorter. It's all very confusing

Experiment for yourself. Everyone is unique due to variables and variations in their genetic makeup. The main caveats of all of them are don't be insulin resistant, don't eat processed junk, eat real food, don't eat more than you can burn, and do some fasting to give your gut a rest and autophagy.

Stem cells are amazing. I have have read that giving 1 unit of blood from younger donor to a patient that is recovering from heart attack, have dramatic heart repair.

I have been fasting. Ive lost 4 pounds. also i dont get yeastbinfections now unless im eating donuts and added sugars to coffees so i add a little honey. im fasting more days my tummy going down im sleeping better its like magic!

Look up the Randle (spl. Randall?) Cycle Those 50/50 fat sugar items like donuts ... or evem eating fresh fruit with cream.. theyre a killer!

You can do 16 hour fasting with breakfast. 10 am to 4pm is actually the best of both worlds. Have a breakfast at 10 am eat dinner at 4 pm .Eating dinner at 4 pm has much more health benefits than eating at 8pm.I tried every hour of the day for breakfast and dinner and without any doubt this is the best for health. One thing for sure though controling your intake of junk foods and refined carbohydrates will also help with weight loss if not over eating.

im eating kosher which is getting better high quality items. so heirloom veggies are the ancient vegetabkes and fruits. great grass fed beef that are killed in a better manner and salted so we eat good foods. so Im cooking no diary and meatvtogethet. so its alot.

my son has schzophrenia. i wanna know if i fast him along with me can his memory get any better. his brain idk. he forgets how to say words and write letters sometimes i dont understand his letter but i watch his eyes and movements then I know what he saying. idk if he wasnt young 23 i wouldnt getbhim. ok

Can i say Please try carnivore diet, and don't stress if youncant fast him.because if his needs management. Exercise is so important but difficult if your son has any agoraphobia becaise if his schizophrenia. And it depends on comorbidities...autis. spectrum will mean a diet high in animal fat and protein might be difficult when the last thing he needs is all those "white foods"...bread, pasta, etc

This is normal if you go back to a bad/ western diet! You starved the body for a while, so the main thing after you start refeeding is for the bidy to store anything extra! Most western diet is not nutritional, can’t be used/ processed for nutrition, so the body stores it…

I haven’t been able to obtain autophagy with 18/6, I have to be at least 36 hours into a full fast of just water and black coffee only. Takes me 1-2 days to obtain ketosis for weight loss, but on day 3 I’ll see 1.5-3 on the GKI scale. However, once obtained, with care, I can KEEP autophagy going with a regimen that can’t get me there, but helps me stay maintained for about a week. Eventually I lose it and have to fast another 2 days to get into it. I fast every 6-8 weeks, depending on what my body is telling me.

@@amer-inkan2026 I am well into my 5th day now! I feel like only now I am in full ketosis since I notice my energy improve and my thinking/clarity as well! I did not have the best diet in the last year, so this delays the process! Somebody that is already fat adapted from the diet/lifestyle can easily reach this phase after 48h. Nonetheless, feels so good…
