The Island Of Symi - GREECE (Day Trip Travel Guide) 

I used to work in London, and gave up up my job to visit the Greek islands. That was forty years ago. I stayed on Symi for three months, just living an easy care-free life. It really was the most sublime island, utterly pure and simple and beautiful. Actually, I lost my heart to the place. I ache to see it again here, and how I remember it. Thank you. Robert, 74, UK.

Im not sure if you have visited Greece before on any of the other 6000 islands and also the mainland which is the biggest paradise secret of all with it's 80% mountains, but I hope you had a wonderful time. I myself have visited Greece so many times now in so many regions on the mainland and to 10 islands, but they are all so different and breathtaking and so rich. Rich in beauty, taste, smell, culture and history, and nature. And it has a serenity I truly love. A thing we miss in much of Europe. It's the depth of the culture spanning millennia and the isolation that 80% mountains, incredibly complex geograpgy and 6000 islands around the mainland that creates this serenity that I admire a lot nowadays. So easy to make good friends too.
