we played on the horde test server and it was an awesome experience. the first time since 4 month we didn't have any lag. the game is so much better without it and we enjoyed it by fighting with a decent pack vs pachys, ceras and tenos :)

When those two cera's ambushed you while you were drinking, and you jumped away while so close to the edge of the cliff; I was sure you'd fall to your death. Was intense! I also hope the lag will stay away on officials. Great video like always, Mombie!

yeah, I saw myself in a kind of slow motion falling down the cliff within that second, too. I was so lucky it feels sooooo god without these little lags/freezes. the last 4 month were so awful to play with that annoying delays. I was so sick of it. so, I really hope they will get that to the official ones. somehow I still have doubts tho

danke ♥ ich hab mal gelesen man soll am anfang vom video dieses "bitte liken" gif einblenden. weil die leute am ende nicht mehr lesen und schnell weiter zum nächsten video drücken. aber, keine ahnung, fühlt sich blöd an. jemanden am anfang aufzurufen zu liken. da weiß man ja nicht mal ob es einem gefällt es gäbe ja viele kleine marketing tricks, aber ich hasse das. entweder den leuten gefällt es oder nicht. dieses ganze psycho zeug ist mir ein graus. alla es kostet nur 9.99 ^^ 10 euro kruzifix noamoi

Yep, that was the spot lol. You still can't pounce from the front. The pachy was small enough to be pinned. It's tough to tell growth now. I could be 75% grown and as tall as adults almost but half the weight. The growths are so weird now with the increased growth until subadult where it slows down a lot. I like it. Seems like more varied-sized dinos now. I find a lot of sub-adults that weren't super common before. Since the growth is slowed they have to come out of hiding to eat more often. A perfect diet is so good now you're at a disadvantage without it. unfortunately, that means a lot of bodies with all the organs gone and the body not touched. I felt bad for the Cera that 2 called. I would have said 'Guys we don't need it let this one go.' Very action-packed and good video. Oh, and some nice fighting with some awesome moves to get yourself out of danger.

told ya I lost a teno there. didn't want to spoil tho someone mentioned that the pounce from ahead was 'cause of the size. makes sense, didn't think about that I can't even say if I like the new grow/weight. probably yes, can't say tho. I noticed that I got many weight at small size. as juvie already 150kg or so. but, it was that much action later on, so, I totally lost track of it as sub adult ^^ but I love the new diet. finally like it should be. perfect the by far best, two different are quite nice and three of one nutrient almost worthless. feels good yeah, I also felt bad for that cera. but, I'm not the guy who tells others how to play. cera is enemy after all and even if I personally often show mercy, I don't expect it from my pack. I asked to 2call it, but, they didn't react, so

Man, everytime you make a new video I feel like playing that dino. Those battle scenes looked like they were straight out of Jurassic Park: Nature Documentary. Is that spot the new NE Plains? Good thing Omnis don't really need the 100% growth, finding a Dryo, Galli, or Stego corpse as a hatchling is near impossible. The music you picked for the group battles couldn't have been a better selection of dino barfighting music. Glad to see you listed each track and the artist in the description. I don't know how many times I watch videos and want to know what music track was used. Do you do any livestreams or have a discord server where subscribers can play with you?

thx mate ♥ I am happy you enjoyed the music true, dryo, galli and stego are tough to get as little omni. well, lipids would do it too, but most bodies don't have any organs anymore. organs got way more value and will even more with this patch. sry mate, I don't have a discord and livestream is a little tough with bubbles I normally do nesting events every now and then to play with me community. unfortunately I am very busy within the upcoming weeks and can't say when I will be able to do the next one

it was so amazing. it felt sooo good. after 4 months of stuttering I didn't even know how good it feels anymore. BUT, the test server had mostly just 80-95 people. so, I don't trust it by now anyway, I also VERY MUCH hope that the officials will be like that after the next update

What a great fight with the ceras! What do you think of the new diet changes? You timed the music so perfectly when the ceras ambushed you at the water I'm shocked you didn't run right off the cliff. Glad to hear you had less lag / better connection on horde testing. I tried to play the other day on regular servers and the lag was awful

thx mate ♥ I was so lucky, I almost jumped off the cliff. I guess, that wasn't even half a yard the update dropped meanwhile and the regular servers have no lag anymore. I couldn't be more happy. the ping is a little high, so, it might effect the fights a little, but, those freezes/lags/rubber banding stuff is gone. first time since 4 months! best news to me personally. I really hated them. while playing as well as while editing I like the new diet/growing so far. I played cera yesterday and paid more attention to it. you gain weight pretty fast. cera has about 800kg at 50% growth. so, you can already fight and omni as juvie. therefore it feels like more action while growing. the longer grow time also results in more sub dinos on the map. therefore you have a bigger range of possible enemies. I don't have a final opinion yet, but, I tend to like the changes

If you weigh more than something as omni you can pin pounce it which can be from any direction. Pouncing something heavier where you latch on still requires sides.

Galli was still weirdly bugged tho. Pounce from behind resulted into pinnig that was automatically canceled after a sec and front was just a regular deflect despite galli being a bit lighter than omni. It is actually easy to 1v1 raptor as galli. If it was not changed already..

@@countryguy981 poor mate. to don't be able to sleep well is very bad. I had a phase like this many years ago and it was terrible. when you are tired and yet can't sleep, it's nerve wracking. luckily it only lasted a few months. I hope you will be able to sleep better soon, too 🤗🤗🤗

@@someone00100 oh, that explains why they were so coordinated. much easier on discord I really felt a little bad for you. the first pachy started that huge battle and I was quite happy when it died. you on the other hand were slaughtered in a pretty unfair 3vs1 without being aggressive first. in our defense, those deinos always ate our prey still, sorry mate

It was a nice fight, even I was overpowerd pretty good. And yeah, I saw the skins and knew it is the Dojo gang, I knew it will be my last few steps. ;)

Why is it called omniraptor when it was utahraptor?

in fact it never was a utah raptor. this model is based on the jurassic park raptor, which was based on a velociraptor. utah raptors weren't even discovered when JP was released. when the isle was released they called it utah raptor. 'cause they were discovered meanwhile and fit much better in size than the tiny velociraptor. yet this model was still the jurassic park model. but, "real" utah raptors had feathers. so, they want to bring in a more accurate utah raptor with feathers at some point. many love the JP model tho and so they keep it in the game with a made-up name (omniraptor). so, you can say a fake dino with a fake name

nope. not at all. I had fatal errors before and had about 2 within 4 hours. these lags I had about 300 within ONE hour. nothing as annoying as those lags. to me this is the best news ever

beside the performance it's mostly stats changes. specially in terms of growing. standard time doubled and diets give new benefits. well, not new, but in a better order. prefect diet is finally worth to go for as adult, too. but, anyway. I don't care much for any of these changes. like all stats they are nothing but temporary. what I care are these lags tho. it felt soooo good to be finally able to play without that annoying little freezes I have suffered from for the last 4 months. I really hope they will manage to transfer that to the officials.

exactly. the hordetest is a server which they activate to test the next update before they release it. it isn't always available tho. mostly just a few weeks before the update

@@JoBlogs77 oh, no problem. was just confused yeah, they activate a horde test server before a new update drops. to test the update before it gets on the officials. this update even dropped meanwhile and so I play on the officials again. normally I play on the regular officials. I have different dinos on EU1-7. I would love to play on NA, too. but, as you saw in this video, my ping is too high anyway, welcome to the isle

the version I played on that horde test is on the officials. but, it isn't called 7.5 as far as I know or much more don't know. the old road map had numbers like 5, 5.5, 6, 6.5 and so on. but, after update 7 they changed the road map. now there are no numbers anymore. we are in phase 1 of the new road map now and this phase features diablo, rex, trike, dilo, herra and even more. whenever something is ready (like dilo and herra) it will be released. so, they want smaller but more frequent updates in the future. so, I have no idea if there is even a 7.5 anymore. I called it 7.5 when herra and dilo arrived. 'cause update 7 was gateway only. but, I think I will have to change that in the future somehow

they offered a horde testing branch for a few weeks now. on this server they tested the patch which was released today. unlike the closed stress tests they had at the most updates before, this one was public and everyone could take part. to do so in the future, you have to switch to the horde branch. in the steam menu. the same page where you choose between legacy and evrima. let me know if you need more detailed info to find those settings

Wow thx for the explanation. I stopped time ago playing coz I thought my laptop was not enough anymore for the isle. But I see that was a common lag problem for everybody. Is it this lag problem finally solved then?

@@matteobarbarini3120 I just played the new patch for 3 hours on the official EU server. no lag at all. the ping is pretty high with 120 (normally I have about 50), but, those little lags/freezes are gone. finally!!! I can't tell you how happy I am. they were so annoying. I hope this will fix your problem too and you can also play again

The new growth times are too long in my opinion, you often only get "great diet" and 2,5 hours growing a Raptor is way too long.

honestly, I can't judge by now. this session was so busy, I didn't have time to keep track on the growing. but, I noticed that you get much weight at the beginning (like 150kg as juvie). also my size was pretty big as sub. at least it felt this way. like I said, I didn't keep track on it. but, my opinion on growing is different anyway. as long as I have fun as babu, I don't care about the grow time. omni is fun from start on. no matter how big it is. you can pounce, you can hunt little ones and as sub you are fast enough to play even a little risky. teno on the other hand has a very boring juvie stage. you can't escape anything and have to play very carefully as solo juvie. many hidden ways and areas far from others, which makes it quite boring to grow. so, it really depends on the dino. some are fun from start on, others aren't. those who aren't, will suffer a lot from the longer grow time

@@da.mombie Oh that's actually nice that you gain weight earlier in growth stage, the current system where you gain 60% of your weight in the last 15% growth is something i don't like.

@@LieRoy86 that makes sense for bigger dinos or dinos with some OP mechanic/skillset like carno for example. I expect deinos and stegos be that way too. Like no joke, 80% deino or stego should still be like half the size in terms of weight and the last 20% could be used purely to bulk your fresh adult up.
