This fantastic 45 mile long road route, is a ride of two halves in stunning scenery. The first section is mainly along the undulating Golden Road and the later part traverses past amazing beaches. Both the landscape and abundance of wildlife is absolutely breath taking.
Julie is an ex Pro-Elite mountain biker. She is an MTB Leader and Mountain Leader. She regularly runs courses and guided trips, in the Peak District and Wales.

Isn't it just beautiful! I cycled the Hebridean Way from bottom to top on my touring bike and going over Harris/Lewis was like being on the moon in places. Great video and enthusiasm Julie 🙂🚲👍

@@JuliePhelanExplore Yes, I could see that you were buzzing 😁 It's a great route in itself but what I'd say from experience is that it's the features and dead-end roads off the side of the official route that warrant exploring. I'm going to do it again but allow myself much more time to explore. You'll not be disappointed 🚲🙂👍

Beautiful scenery, wildlife and quiet roads..you had me thinking of planning a trip..until you said, it was tough! If you think it's tough..well that was enough to scare me off, haha!😂 I can't believe you didn't do some bikepacking whilst you were in such a wonderful environment, where wild camping is totally legal; but we can't have everything can we! Perhaps you'll go back there and film a bit of bikepacking!?🤣 Brilliant post as usual Julie. Hope you have some more posts of your trip north of the border for us to view. Thank you so much. Anyone who can cycle up the incline from Cromford can do this. To be honest I had sat in the camper van travelling for the 2 days previous. That always leaves me feeling as stiff as a board. Lol ! It’s wonderful. You need to go. The Hebridean Way looks very interesting.

Thank you for another great video I love the West coast of Scotland . I visited my grandsons in Sheffield at weekend and they couldn't wait to tell me they spoke to you in Fairbourne last week , my daughter held the gate open for you at the end of the Mawddach Trail I'm hoping you do another subscribers ride 👍

Oh that's wonderful! How kind are they? I loved it up there as you can probably guess. It's the mixture of stunning riding and wildlife which so hits the buttons .
