1:44 "Can you *feel me inside* that head of yours?" (emphasis mine) *shudders* Am I really the only one who missed that seriously disturbing subtext? I mean, it may be a stretch, but consider the way the Jabberwocky is talking to her, the invasion of personal space, they're in prison, it's done in a way specifically to leave mental wounds rather than physical ones, _her body language_. The term for the Jabberwocky's signature power in fanspeak isn't called "Mind RAPE" for no reason.
"You believe that the prince have chosen you instead of your STEPSISTER, then, your mother would've love you." I KNEW IT! Anastasia IS Cinderella's stepsister!! Obvious twist, but glad the show confirmed it! :D
it looks like i might be wrong lol. from the preview of next episode of season 6 ep. 3 of OUAT - focusing on Cinderella's stepfamily backstory. it seems like her stepsisters are played by different actresses, brunette hair, different names. not blonde like this one. the writers like to ignore the existence and continuity of this show at all >:( [bad english, sorry!]
this scene is so heartbreaking💔Anastasia promised Will that she would protect him and wants to make things right for her mistakes!even though I don't think Will actually believed her,but during this scene I feel like he's disappointed in her again💔💔💔
In the original poem by Lewis Carroll it is called a vorpal sword www.poetryfoundation.org/poem/171647 but a knife/blade in the 2010 Disney movie "Alice in Wonderland" (starring Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter)
Jean G It's also referred to as a blade in the American Mcgee Alice game series. But that might be because their version is a kitchen knife, and they didn't want to use the word "sword" for something that is obviously not a sword.
Tha Jabberwocky was my favorite character on the show. But you can see Peta Sergeant's real hair under that wig...who thought that wig was a good idea? I understand that they were trying to make her more creepy than beautiful (and that isn't easy, since Ms. Sergeant is gorgeous) but the wig just looked silly. I kept waiting for Stacey and Clinton to show up.
William Stebbins And the Jabberwocky can only be killed by a certain type of knife, the one that Alice uses to kill the Jabberwocky in the movie Alice in Wonderland.
I think the wig is supposed to look off to show that there's something not quite right about her - she looks human but there's something not so human about her
remember how cruella had a backstory based a little on rapunzel theme even though there was already a real rapunzel? or how ursula's backstory was based on disney's ariel, even though there was already ariel on the show? according to writers, Red Queen's story is something like that, she is not Cinderella's stepsister, but her story is based on the stepsister from disney's cinderella
I would love it they brought it in Russian and Eastern European fairy tales. Maybe we should start writing to the writers (that seems like a tongue twister) about that.
