I remember my uncle coming home with their tapes when I was a kid when these guys were still selling tapes out of their trunk. 2o something years later these guys still have me lmfao.
When I was in college in the 80s I heard this and I thought what a shady attorney. Then in 1995 I got my first legal job and my boss sounded a lot like this. As soon as he said to a client “come and see me” I knew it was him on those old tapes! I asked him and he confirmed it. Truth is he was an honorable attorney....his name was Stanley Sher.... he told me he knew he was being cranked and just played along with him.
Ha! That makes it even funnier. It makes me wonder if this gag would have been even better if they had known he would play along, and actually wrote some kind of script for it.
Honestly most people dont know about these. My father used to show my friends and I these calls. He'd play them in the car all the time. Fucking hilarious to this day.
