I mean when Washington had the Mighty Eagle they were tied with Detroit at that point but honestly the Wings have one of the most iconic Logos in Hockey along with the Habs, Leafs, and Bruins

As a Wings fan... Nothing needs to be changed. The "boring" jerseys are iconic. I'm ok with having a special one-off for special events, but there's no need for a third and really, really no need for black to be added (why would we want to wear Hawks colors!?).

I've *always* loved the Red Wings jerseys. To me, they're the epitome of "elegance in simplicity." Also, they should be allowed to wear the whites at home any time they want.

As a Wings fan I've been wishing for a new, and frequently worn, jersey for some time. I love the organization's commitment to tradition and history but I think their winter/centennial classic jersies are good indicators they can still stay true to that while doing something new. My personal favorite is definitely the '14 Classic, followed by the Centennial and then the '09.

They have the best logo in the NHL and their regular jerseys are perfect, but I really wish they took some sort of horse head/mooterus/fisherman risk for a third. Give us an Octopus logo or something

I think with the current jersey, a way I think it could be improved is make the neck line white (like how the away neck line is red). Breaks up the red a little bit.

The old English D has been worn by the tigers forever. It's timeless. Interesting sidenote; up until recently they had 2 different "D's" one for the jersey and another for the hat.

as a Red Wings fan of over 20 years, I love that they haven't changed the style that much over the years! I currently have a 1997 Yzerman replica ccm jersey in white (when white signified home status) and the current Adidas home jersey (all red) that they wear on the ice. I do love the updated Adidas jersey with the NHL logo on the front of the collar and also love the fact that it's all red with the 3 white stripes. Imo, I love the simplicity. I will say the winter classic jersey's look amazing as well! I guess if I HAD to change anything about the Red home jersey's, it would MAYBE be an all white collar, but even then im still iffy on that...

The reason the logo looks different on the howe jersey is they didnt invert the colors on the logo for the dark jersey like they do now. This was only a thing for a short period of time

I like the regular home one but I agree it could use something. The white one is beautiful. I have the winter classic one and it is my favorite. I passed up on the stadium series and the centennial ones and regret that especially the stadium series

I think Detroit fans appreciate the 'history' and lack of change due to the fact that Detroit today is nothing like it was 50 years ago. It was once a boom town that brought people from all over the US and Canada (my family moved to Detroit from Toronto at the turn of the century 1900). The cities history is all that's left of what could be called the 'silicon valley' of the US industrial age.

I honestly like their current ones and you’re right, don’t touch the white one. But as long as that basic design for both home and away have been in use, it’s almost like it’s a throwback jersey every night to the 50s. But then again Chicago’s hasn’t changed too much since the 50s either. KIS- Keep It Simple and of all the jerseys you’ve shown so far, the simple ones always look the best to me. Especially Chicago and Detroit.

I have question about the 14' Winter Classic. Did they make the sleeves baggier than the regular Reebok jerseys? I have both and the Winter Classic is significantly baggier in the arms. At first I thought it may be a goalie cut jersey, but the body doesn't seem wide to me and the sleeve length is not shorter like most goalie cuts I've seen. Also is it normal for a Replica Reebok 14' Winter classis to not come with a W.C patch or Captains patch? I have Zetterberg W.C with no patches on it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I disagree with you on a lot of your favourite jerseys Shannon (what is with the love for those terrible Kings ones?) but I wholeheartedly agree on the stadium series jersey. What you forgot to mention was they wore white gloves with it, which looked really different and very cool.

Issue with the home jersey is that the bottom stripe used to be raised and it was red white red, not red to white.

I don't like the Stadium Series's slanted white stripe at all. In my eyes, it's very difficult to pull off an asymmetric uniform. A little extra detail on the collar or on a sleeve can be a nice touch akin to a sharp-looking wristwatch. But to have the whole thing slanted over just unbalances the whole thing and it looks awkward.

Perhaps the worst Red Wings jersey in my eyes is 82-83 (might be off by a year) when they introduced the vertically arched lettering (LOVE IT!) but also that god awful “fancy” number font. It only lasted one season and they went back to the block number font, but kept the arched lettering.

Detroit Red Wings have an iconic look as one of the Original Six teams. They don't need to change much. Do think the whites do look a little better than the whites. Stadium jersey is the most radical you'll probably get for Detroit Red Wings.

So annoying and I dont know why but I hate that C on the right side. It looks so stupid .. I know.. just annoying. I know the reason is because of the logo but come on it would still fit..the logo could actually be positioned a bit lower or levelled out a bit.
