In this video, we will travel to the opposite side of Australia, to experience a ride on the Kuranda Skyrail, in Cairns, North Queensland. This runs from the Smithfield terminus, a short distance north of Cairns City, travelling over the top of the rainforest, to Kuranda, a World renown village on the Atherton Tablelands, covering a distance of 7.5 km. The Barron Falls, which we pass on the journey, were quite low on water at the time. I would like to thank Lance Robb for giving us permission to use his video of these falls in flood after a cyclone in 2017, and to Biopixel for their 2018 footage, which I have included pending their approval.
