February 10, 2001 - During the 2001 NBA All-Star Weekend festivities, TNT took an opportunity to reflect upon the trials and triumphs in the career of former dunk champion Kenny "Sky" Walker.
He was a classic “tweener”; a power forward in a small forward’s body. One-dimensional player, and he had injury issues (mainly knees and back)…he still did good overseas, where there isn’t much in the way of rough physical play like the NBA has
I was a huge Kenny Walker fan. Knicks fan too, saw Kenny play every year he was in New York. Wish he could've developed a better offensive game as he had a harder time creating as opposed to college days at Kentucky. He worked his butt off on defense, rebounded and blocked shots. If he played today, he would be regarded higher for the unselfishness he displayed.
Still to this day, my favorite all time player ever, Larry bird second, my love, was when i was around 13, lived in Louisville, dreaming of playing for ky,
Dumisa Tony Johnson what's up johnson?! Yeah Kenny walker dominated in college!!!!! But he did good in the pros too! He did the 1st 360 windmill dunk I believe (like Vince Carter!).... but looks like there's no footage!?🤷🏻♂️🤷🏾♂️
