I used to be insanely jealous the first couple years. Not because I didn’t trust him…. (Together now 32 years)… but because I had a lot of loss and separation issues from my childhood. I was just sure he would leave me. It took a few years to realize I was of great value to him and frankly he was also afraid I would find someone better. Insecurity and fear are life’s biggest challenges. We lived in Fort Lauderdale for 5 years…. It was fun but we had difficulty finding friends who respected our monogamy.

You two are like two peas in a pod, I'm 75 years old and I've never found a relationship as loving as. Please don't lose what you have, it's really hard to find a relationship is true is yours that you have together!!!🤨

There’s nothing more precious than the feeling of oneness when you’re in a relationship, jealousy, lack of forgiveness for the every day stupid stuff, like leaving a glass on the counter, are really things that can tear down relationship unnecessarily. And sometimes one person Has to forgive a little bit more to the other person. It’s just how it is if you love them completely that feeling of oneness will carry you through. one unit and the ability to always consider what’s best for the both of you as a unit will carry you through, relationships take work and when you’re 60 and 70 you’ll really appreciate the small sacrifices you made along the way, finances are another big issue, you should really never financially be together until you’re actually married, but once you’re married, just like everything else, you need to talk about your future and your finances, and being responsible with money and debt

Jealousy can also stem from feelings of insecurity and low self esteem from childhood/teen years, especially if you’ve had to live a ‘double life’ to fit into any of the tribes you belong to. Developing trust goes hand in hand with growing self esteem/confidence, at least in my experience.
