thank you for sharing your story. I recently found out my now ex is in the closet, when I first questioned him, his response was *that would be such a waste of a good man". Months later, it was confirmed. Anyway, he has 3 children with 3 different moms, and I always wondered why it didn't work out. He's Hispanic, so, it's tough for him to come out to friends and family.

@@johniii8147 I, gave them a fair chance to back out of the mess. They did. This was 10 years and the Hayden Christensen/Tom Brady looking guy and are are still the best of friends to this day. The "bully" dude moved 2 states away and came out. I still her from him every now and again. I was just nice to them and told the horror story of what gay men went through in the 80s and 90s when I was growing up. I told them that the key to life was learning to love yourself and differences are not always flaws.

No your "gaydar" is NOT extremely good. You can spot out the 30% of the male population who is indistinguishable from everyone else and is gay or bi but closeted and in many instances, in denial to themselves? No. You go on STEREOTYPES, which is a tiny portion of the gay and bi male population. You have NO idea how common they are.

Your story here sounds like something my imagination makes up about a guy I’ve only met online, and is in what I suspect is a “lavender marriage.” He’s a roller coaster enthusiast who has his own YT channel, and I’ve been sort of obsessed about him. Except for your personal description of him, so much about what you have written sounds like it could be him (probably a one out of million possibility). It’s so uncanny.

@@kso808 I'm fairly sure it isn't the same guy. This is up in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. And I've never heard this co-worker friend talk about roller coasters. And on top of that, he's not real tech savvy and I don't think he even owns a computer.

He could be curious and just enjoys flirting for the attention. I met several guys who like to tease me that way. But he knows you and him are already in relationships so it is unlikely anything would ever happen.

@@localman12 He's not curious. He's 100% straight. I found out he's an alcoholic and he went into rehab for just 6 days. Then when he came back, he found out from his youngest son that their mother went out drinking with some of her friends and spent the night at one of her girlfriends. So an 11 year old, 8 year old and 6 year old were left alone for the night! Then he had a couple beers and that's when he confronted his wife on it. She flew off the handle and tried to leave but he grabbed her. Then she started beating on him and bit him too. His oldest son started hitting him too. So he pushed his wife away and raised his fist at his son and told him to back off (but never hit him). But the wife called the cops and of course they sided with her and he spent a night in jail. Then he found out the police put a restraining order on him from his wife and their oldest son. So me and my partner offered to let him come stay with us. He came here on the first day of Spring (Mar. 20th). As a condition of him staying here, he couldn't drink or smoke (including weed). He could use his edibles though. He started off ok. We even started going to a YMCA to workout together. That's when I found out he's 100% straight. But he started becoming increasingly paranoid about his wife being on Facebook all the time. But he was forbidden from calling or messaging her. So then he put up a profile on a couple dating apps. He met a few women but mainly focused on one who lives about an hour away from our house. Within a couple weeks he was already spending nights at her apartment. Then after just 3 weeks they were sleeping together. He also starting using her car to go to work and then drive 45 minutes back to her place after work. I called her car the "boomerang" because it always ensured he would return to her. He's 42 and she claims to be 45 (but she looks a lot older). Plus she's kinda heavy set. So when she met him for the first time, she realized she struck gold with getting a younger, fit and good looking guy. So she started doing everything she could to keep him from coming back to our house. But he kept saying he was coming back and was still paying us rent. But by mid April he went to her apartment one weekend and never came back. He even started having doubts about her and told me he was back on the dating app. But then he said that she caught him on it one night. She asked for his phone and he actually gave it to her! She then deleted the dating apps from his phone! When he told me that, some major alarms went off in my head. I tried telling him that she was his "rebound girl" and he thought it might be true but he was having such a good time with her, that he ignored my warnings. He was supposed to have a day in court to face 4 charges the cops filed against him. But he kept asking for it to be delayed. After he delayed it for the 2nd time, I lost all respect for him. He was saying he was doing it to punish his wife and to have more time to hire a lawyer. But I was so disgusted that he was ignoring the fact that he hadn't seen his kids for 2 months! Then near the end of May he finally came and got his belongings from our house. The motivation came after me and my partner got new jobs and he had been thinking about quitting the place where we all worked at too. So he knew we could no longer drive him to work. So he made the decision to permanently move in with this girl he has only known a couple months. And now they've both applied to a job 90 minutes north of where she lives. He's told me they are trying to rent an apartment close to their new job but aren't having much luck. He also keeps telling me I might get a call from a potential landlord and wants me to give him a glowing review. But I haven't received any calls. I prefer not to hear from him anymore but he did call my partner a couple days ago. He said he's happy for us in our new jobs. He said him and that girl are still driving 90 minutes to their new job each day at a Honda manufacturing plant. I honestly think he's keeping in touch because if things don't work out between him an this girl (which I've predicted all along) he's going to ask to move back in with us. But I've already told my partner that we shouldn't let him and he agrees. I told him numerous times that she's just a rebound girl. He exhibits all the signs. Plus with her being older and heavy set, I think it won't be long before he starts noticing other younger, more fit women. This current woman is so obsessed with food that she is constantly posting recipe videos on Facebook. Then she feels guilty and posts stuff about herself not being perfect. So she is extremely insecure and always seeking reassurance from our former friend. And since she's giving him sex and living with her for free, he's just happy to use her as much as she's using him.

Being gay doesn't mean you just want to be a bottom. Sexual orientation is about sexual attraction and who you are attracted to. There is heterosexual men who like to get pegged by their girlfriends/wives and dominated, that doesn't mean the are attracted to men or a penis. Their fantasy is usually a female in the dominant role, plus they like the feel of it and prostate stimulation. A lot of women like wearing a strap on for their boyfriends/husbands but it doesn't mean they are attracted to women or want to have sex with one. Their fanstasy is usually dominating a man. There are many different people into many different things with many differents kinks, but who they are attracted to and want to do them things with depends on their sexual orientation.

Telling from my experience, there is significant asymmetry of behaviour and intent between tops and bottoms. What guys is saying, applies more to bottoms (not excluding tops completely).
