What fun to share the Friesian Stallion Show with us. Incredibly beautiful stallions and that Stallion you mated Uniek with is incredibly beautiful. Somehow I prefer the extension and ground coverage to a high knee action but i don't know which is preferred by the judges

Waander didn't seem to be able to relax and show himself to best advantage, but he is beautiful. You should get a really nice foal from that breeding. The stallions are all magnificent. The differences between them are too subtle for me, at least, to spot. Thanks for sharing this video with us, Yvonne. These shows are always very interesting.

Just so much fun matching these stallions with their Stal G offspring that we know and love. All the sires look marvellous to me. Wander is pure show-biz. Glamorous and showy. Doesn't want to trot around an arena, he wants to be in an action movie! All the humans - so much fun to see the Mods and Admins, the behind-the-scenes heros. What an incredible event showcasing so many majestic stallions!! I’m certainly no expert at judging them and no doubt they each have their own unique qualities that make them special but for me a few of my favorites would be Jurre 495(Jacobien)Jasper 366(King of the stallions and Eefje’s sire🥹) Nane 492(Jildou) and Fonger 478(Marije)what a truly magical experience this must be to be surrounded by so many wonderful equines who contribute immensely to the Friesian breed. It’s easy to see the immense pride and reverence that they hold in the hearts of the Frisian and Dutch people there’s so much love for all these stallions and the breed in general and to think at one point there was only 3 stallions left,without those early committed,passionate people coming together the world would have lost a gem in the equine world;now there’s countless people who continue keeping the breed going Rein Sr.,Sijaan,the Okkema’s and of course the one and only Yvonne H who started this channel to educate us/share her love of how truly important these horses are thank you all for doing what you do and for spreading the word about the Friesian it really is amazing!! So glad you all had a wonderful time and thank you for such a wonderful video Yvonne!!🐎🔥🖤🤗

You can feel the power of these stallions through the screen. I felt bad for the young men trying to hold them. Is it my imagination or are the stallions of today much thinner than the older Fresians in the video you posted? Uniek seems to be the standard of the originals. She is so powerfully built. I remember a stallion in the video of the stall you visited - there was a stallion there that was thick like Uniek - I'll go find his name - Here are my two picks for Queen Uniek Alger 522 and Kanne 534 I know so much goes into choosing the correct pedigree - it's a true science!

Stallions from years ago were much thicker than the sport type of today. Sometimes they are called baroque.

much like the cocker spaniels of today that have turned up noses and short muzzles and too much hair - I much prefer the thicker, broader faces, and legs of the older standard - personally, I worry for them having less bone @@janetmajor1152

Oh my goodness! They were all so beautiful! Thank you for sharing - it's so good to see the sires of so many of the horses and foals we've seen born and grow up at both Stalls 'G' and 'H'. I think Coralle might be 'channelling' the feisty spirit of Waander 512 😄. But, to be fair, it *was* a stressful situation for him and, when he finally got into gear and trotted properly, he was almost floating 🤩. While I think it'll be good for Uniek's foal to inherit some of his spirit, hopefully, it'll be tempered by Uniek's calm, good sense and sweet nature. He also looks like he has a very different conformation to Uniek - he's absolutely stunningly beautiful, of course but he looked quite compact, with an almost Arabian 'dished' head, compared to Uniek who seems bigger overall in comparison and has a longer body. So, it'll be interesting to see who their foal takes after in looks as well as character. It was lovely to see Teun 505 - even if it did remind me that Rinse Janko didn't make the grade as a breeding stallion and is being sold (I haven't seen all Rinse Janko's gaits properly so I have to assume he fell short on those somehow because, ok, I'm no expert and am probably more than a little biased, but...c'mon! he's GORGEOUS!) Jurre 495 - I can see where Jacobien got her beautifully shaped head from - he reminded me of a cross between Waander 5i2 and Uniek in looks. Perhaps, if Uniek's foal is a colt, he'll grow up to look like Jurre 495! Herre 524 - another neat package that reminded me very much of Waander 512 (if somewhat bigger) - and likely who Yfke inherited her long legs from! It'll be interesting to compare how Yfke and Yvonne compare as they grow up too 🥰 Once again, thank you for taking the time to share these wonderful horses with us 🥰🖤

The young stallions surprised me this year. The young stallions that I have seen at the shows in recent years were tense and reacted similarly to Waander in this video. It's actually not surprising, as they don't really know this atmosphere with the audience, lights and music. This year they were much more relaxed. That's why Martinus 539 and Jeppe 537 performed so well. Let's see if one of them will be as successful as a Nane 492 or Jurre 495.

Wow! Those young stallions are impressive for only being approved so recently. It seems the studbook is going to flourish with many new horses from which to choose. What a bunch of beautiful stallions. It was also fun to see the Friesians pulling the hay wagons and other farming equipment, as well as Elias 494, the top Friesian dressage stallion in the world. What a wonderful time you must have had.

Woo hoo! This video was so EXCITING! Thanks so much Yvonne for filming all that. I enjoyed everything: the music and singing, the old fashioned demonstration of how horses were used in the past and the parading of all the studs for the competition. It was great to see the sires of so many horses we have known from Stall G and then some from Stall H. It was a pleasure to see Yfke's sire. And how nice to see the beautiful stallion Waander that is the sire of Uniek's foal growing inside surrogate Coralle. He's stunning! How wonderful Yvonne to be at the event with many of your friends and those associated with your channel. I could feel your JOY all the way here in North East USA 🇺🇸 where it's freezing cold right now. I wish I could have been there with you and your group. 😊 ❤

Hello, gang! All of you looked like you were truly enjoying themselves. The stallions are beyond gorgeous. Waander may not have been at the top, but he's still a beauty. He and Uniek's baby will be great. Can't wait for the birth. And big congratulations to "King" Jeppe!

This was amazing! I have the greatest respect for the young men who run with those stallions as they are put through their paces for the judges. Beautiful stallions! Hope you all had a lot of fun!

Wow! Friesians are so beautiful any way, but the champions are just poetry in motion! And Jeppe so young! I hope we see a champions from Stal H and Stal G in the future, wouldn't that be awesome! Thanks for such a fun video!!
