Okay givin the roster now from watching this select screen I can see why the developers chose only 7 characters and not another set of teams. This whole thing is huge.
@@Ctrekoz I personally think it should be Gaidel because he is the only Hakkesshu member that has NEVER been playable in any game in the series, and he is hinted to have been revived following Verse's death in KOF 14. Plus, according to his page in the wiki, he is implied to possess the element of water like how Yashiro has earth, Shermie has thunder, etc., and last time I checked, no playable character in KOF history has had the power of water.
@@BryonYoungblood That does make sense, since they have met before the events of the series with Goenitz being the one who took out Rugal's eye and gave him some Orochi power, which he ultimately could not fully control leading to his death back in KOF 95. Also, Goenitz is a member of the Four Heavenly Kings along with Yashiro, Shermie, and Chris, and he is also the only member who isn't currently playable in KOF 15, so having him as the free boss for Season 2 makes perfect sense.
This new layout is a bit ugly IMO, but the good news is that now we've got a confirmation that there really is a character they didn't show in the season 2 roadmap and it seems it's a free entry since the fighters pass has only six characters. Also, we've got empty space to fit six more characters in. Season 3, perhaps. 😊

You will have up to7 new characters and next year more individual characters in 2024? Would be better to add new teams instead of one single character per a season or whatever. I'm feeling a little disappointed right now. I also may have feeling that this game might die out like it did in KOF 14. Orochi team should be more like hold start on the Yashiro, Shermie and Chris rather than wasting a team slot. That's something a little weird to me.
