We pretty much came a long way My personal favorite Tekken character select tracks are Tekken 2, Tekken 3 (What I grew up with), Tekken Tag 1 and 2, Tekken 4, Tekken 5 and the Tekken 8.

Ling Xiaoyu's face changed the most dramatically from tekken 4 and 3 starting in 5 and onward.

鉄拳TEKKEN 2 (Arcade version) had the best features, selecting Tekken Fighters off-screen was a unique touch and should’ve been kept throughout the series.

tekken music had no right to slap this hard. music wise, i love all of them, but tag 2 slapped so dang hard🔥 t7 season 3 is also tied omg. for the character screen itself, tekken 8 looks FANTASTIC. seeing tekken 4’s character selection brings me back so much memories ;v;

My favorite character I still love is Xiaoyu

It's incredible to see the leaps in graphics over time with this video. One good example is Tekken Tag Tournament. The difference between Tekken Tag Tournament for the System 12/PlayStation and the PlayStation 2 is absolutely night and day. The best generational leap ever. Sure, the arcade version wasn't shown here, but the difference between PS1 and PS2 hardware is a generational leap so vast, its a leap we'll potentially never see again.

Tekken Revolution is a sleeper man, its so good

What a trip down memory lane. I'd like to say all console Tekken games are good, my close-to favorites are Tekken 2, Tekken 3, and Tekken Tag 1 I REALLY LIKED Tekken 4 and Tekken 5; but they just didn't quite reach the enjoyability of the others. My absolute favorite thus far is Tekken Tag 2 though. Tekken 6 and Tekken 7.... meh. Some good, some bad. Tekken 8 is looking amazing, already preordered it for Steam (I don't have a next-gen console). Tekken 1 is the worst of them, for obvious reasons.

T3 and TTT’s take me back. I hadn’t heard any of the others until now. 7’s is just loud sounds and noises to me. 😖 But I do like 8’s a whole lot!

Sorry but Tekken 8 select screen is a real downgrade from Tekken 7. Street Fighter style, characters 3D doing something, tiny thumbnails, basic background with a short loop music "oh oh oh".
