How did I not see your video today ?? Better late than never😉 I actually like the genuine leather LP kirkbride cause that leather helps keep that big block a bit more firm. Still that lambskin is nice, the only thing they could change is their logo, its a bit big but that's just a simple picky thing.
@@radical7663 Yep ....but since they did give me a couple review copies which ended up blessing two sub's that's an outcome that makes it worth it..BUT like I said in the other comment on my channel about that same subject I've changed my mind on how I deal with things. kirkbride needs to listen to their customers and stop ignoring the market ....Esp in regards to print quality, personally I like the genuine leather not every bible needs a soft coat esp the large print mine was way to hard to use from CBP I regret buying that one BUT it did go to someone locally who had eye problems that was awesome so in the end it was worth it I guess...
Did you notice that it was missing the "Index to the Atlas" ? I have this same bible, and 8 other Thompsons, this was the only one missing the atlas index. I contacted Kirkbride, and it is not an error. no word on if that section will return. I found that atlas index very useful.
They are going to be going to overhaul the Thompson chain in 2022 hopefully the 6th edition is coming and should make it a black letter edition only instead of the red letter
I am looking for a Thompson Chain KJV tabbed, large print, I saw one edition that said 10 point font but 5th improved printing that would be the one I want. I need the larger print because even with my bifocals it is hard to read the small print, our red cover hymnals at church I cannot read them unless I bring a magnifying glass.
Would buy when available in hardbound version. Lasts longer! Prefer no red lettering. The bible says we are not to have images of Christ so they need to remove those pages. We do not know what he looked like except that he look like the young jews of his time. They never wore long hair either.
Church Bible publishing is going to move from Michigan to Texas next year 2022 And they are going to stop making Thompson chain edition in the near future
