Why I Like The Open Bible and the Thompson Chain

I started with a Thompson. Couldn't agree more. I also later found Bibles with a cyclopedic index and abbreviated that too. Thanks for the thoughts!!

Great video! I'm interested in both of these Bibles . I noticed recently at a Bible store online that there will be a newer edition of the Thompson NKJV Open Bible next year on 28 Jan 2025. I don't know what has been added other than the total number of pages is greater by 128 in the upcoming edition. It mentions that there is a 200 word study section. Maybe that's the difference?

The Bible plus the Treasury of Scripture Knowledge will always be my favorite. The sole reason I got my Swordsearcher software is that their TSK has forward and backward references (most just have forward references).

Ah. Great. I saw Randy from bible buying guide review the open bible. Saying it’s very good. Got lots of great articles as well. One about the apocrypha and why it isn’t in the bible and about redemption that’s a popular article in other bibles says Randy. I tend to watch lots of bible reviews on YT. I have the evidence study bible from Ray comfort and an niv I look at occasionally which my brother lent me.
