Media: Michael Jordan had Scottie, that's why he was so good!! Also Media: LeBron needs more help to be better! Wade, Bosh, Allen, Kyrie, Love, Anthony Davis are not enough! It's their fault he doesn't win a lot!
*I can’t believe a guy can still have a job talking sports after saying Jordan was Russell Westbrook before Pippen showed up!!! Unbelievable comment I’m speechless ㋡*
But LeBron had to leave and team up with D Wade and Bosh , but that went out the window when he tried to take control of the team ( Pat Riley is the Boss ) and teamed up with Kyrie and Love . Then he went to LA to team up with AD
@marclyndoncruz6097 If he wanted to stat or ring chase, hed have 8 rings and pass kareem on the all time scoring list. Not tryna discredit MJ, just saying thats how good he is compared to Bron.
Worst thing about the statement is that it's an OLD one from Sharpe that aged poorly, because stat padding is really what James has been doing since 2021. Not even sure it's about winning as much as highlighting the stats HE wants highlighted (he'll never talk about the turnovers, etc.).
Why do you think all these ex football players talk basketball? Because they’re all willing to lie for LeBron for a check. They will discredit another sport because they don’t care about it.
@@urusledge The other football players referred to are only on shows as guest. I've seen it happen more than once. Sharpe is the only one with a full time job.
They are also pushing narratives for players to secure huge contracts that the agency profits off of. Jalen Brunson has been great, but think about what kind of pressure it puts on the Knicks to pay him whatever he wants when the media says he is the 2nd coming of AI
Lebron himself also never takes accountability for the losses and always makes up excuses whether it's his teammates, coaching or fake injuries. More importantly, he never gives credit to his championship teammates either. I have yet to hear him praise how great his teammates (especially co-stars) were when they won.
I think his new podcast with jj redick really exposed this mindset he has. He was mentioning KCP as an important factor for the nuggets, but didn’t give him credit for being a big contributor to his LA championship. Then, he was talking about needing luck to win championships, but couldn’t think of anything in his own championship runs… It took them wrapping up the show and leaving for him to get reminded of Ray Allen’s shot and come back to talk about it being a case of luck leading to winning a championship
An athlete paying off people in the media to try and craft the narrative that they are the GOAT is legitimately one of the most pathetic things that I have ever seen in sports.
LeBron stacks his teams so he won’t get blame.. that’s the whole point.. he couldn’t handle the pressure of being the “best player” on his team and having to shoulder the blame… so he left, and joined 2 other guys so they could take the blame… cuz, come on, LeBron is on the team… if they can’t win with LeBron, it’s got to be their own fault right? Not LeBrons even though he absolutely disappeared in ‘11 Finals… and I was a mega fan of that team! I was Wade fan, so when Lebum came over I was hype! But it quickly became obvious that he doesn’t know how to share the spotlight and he can’t shoulder any responsibility… Jordan won while being that guy… I remember analysts and “journalists” talking mad trash about him if he lost a game in the 90’s… he would even directly respond! Then respond again in the game! Then get the last word in the post game presser!!! LeBron can’t and won’t do that…. Which is why he passes up on “game winners” or “clutch” shots… he’s great.. for sure… Uber talented, for sure… but can’t even be mentioned in the same breath as Jordan!
You are sport on. I lived in Chicago during Jordan's playing days. I had positive vibes for LeBron during his first time in Cleveland. Didn't like the 'decision' announcement. That's what turned me off.
I feel like lebron and his charging, traveling, no defensive effort, and whining /blaming teammates has run its course. It’s time for the media to move on, they are ruining basketball behind handicapping one man IMO.
LeBron is athletic, and that's not the same as uber talented. LeBron really isn't as talented as the media portrays. He pads his stats to make himself look better than he really is. Look at Jokic, little to no real athletic skill, but he keeps winning. Why? Because he's smart. Denver is going to keep winning because they brought in players to help Jokic to succeed. Jokic is much like Bird, but I believe Bird was a better player. Bird could put up more points and he did a better job utilizing his teammates. LeBron does everything he can to keep the spotlight on himself, even if he has to pay analysts to lie for him. If you look at LeBron's numbers through a performance spectrum, he's actually more of a top 50 player and rather than a top 10 player.
Shannon is just white noise at this point. No one who really knows basketball is listening to him when he talks Lebron or Jordan. As soon as the checks stop flowing, he’ll stop running his mouth.
The fact that Jordan hasn't created his own media operation to combat LeBron's Klutch Sports propaganda...really proves how solidified he is as the GOAT. Even The Last Dance documentary didn't portray Jordan as a saint. It showed all the dirty grity aspects that made him what he was.
your a fool theres literal clips saying the media catered to MJ even to the point where if they didnt cater to MJ, mj would alienate them. yall just mj groupies
All 3 of those guys would fry in the 90’s, they are the product of this era and have to be insanely skilled to do what they did. Name any 90’s players who were as skilled as these 3 players? I’ll wait.
@@LL-zm9goMichael Jordan, Penny Hardaway, Kevin Garnett, Arvidas Sibonis, Scottie Pippen, Tim Hardaway, Allen Iverson Dirk Nowitzki Kobe Steve Nash are a just a few. But you’re a stat guy and not something who actually watched those players so you won’t agree but any of those guys to their prime in this weak ass era? They are cooking
Hahahahahaha. Outside of Jordan & Kobe, all of those others would get absolutely fried but Jokic, Luka, & Brunson, positions respective ofcourse. But you are absolutely out of your mind if you think KG or Sabonis are stopping Jokic. I figured some casual would use Jordan or Kobe, the other names would stand zero chance. I guess “stat guy” is another term for someone who actually knows basketball and doesn’t rely on nostalgia & bias. These channels are pathetic echo chambers for casuals who know nothing about the game nor have played it at a high level. Thanks for the laugh
@@LL-zm9gothe joke is you actually think you’re right. To say iverson who lead the league in steals multiple times or penny hardaway would get “fried” by Luka is crazy. You clearly don’t know what you’re talking about or you have only been watching basketball for like 10 years.
Michael Jordan played five seasons without Scottie Pippen 84-85 38-44..First round exit 85-86. 30-52..First round exit 86-87. 40-42...First round exit 01-02. 37-45..out of playoffs 02-03. 37-45..out of playoffs Lebron james has won more playoff Series' than any player in NBA HISTORY Lebron james has been to 10 nba finals. Only Bill Russell and Sam Jones (in a mostly nine team league) have made more nba finals appearances LeBron james carried an absolutely horrific 2007 Cleveland Cavaliers team to the nba finals In the modern NBA era (post 1960) only nine NBA top 75 players have won a championship without another top 75 player as a teammate Rick Barry (1975) Bill Walton (1977) Hakeem Olajuwon (1994) Tim Duncan (2005) (2007) Kobe Bryant (2009) (2010) Steph Curry (2015) (2022) LeBron james (2016) Kawhi Leonard (2019) Giannis Antetokounmpo (2021) As you can see, LeBron James is on the list and Michael Jordan isnt Lebron james has won 17 playoff series, without an nba top 75 teammate. Michael Jordan won ZERO In the year before Michael Jordan and LeBron James joined their team and the year after they left their team, their records were 83-84 bulls 27-55 84-85 bulls. 38-44 92-93 bulls 57-25 93-94 bulls 55-27 98-99 bulls 13-37 without Scottie Pippen 00-01 wizards 19-63 01-02 wizards. 37-45 02-03 wizards 37-45 03-04 wizards 25-57 02-03 cavaliers 17-65 03-04 cavaliers 35-47 09-10 cavaliers 61-21 10-11 cavaliers 19-63 09-10 heat. 47-35 10-11 heat 58-24 14-15 heat 37-45 2013-14 cavaliers 33-49 2014-15 cavaliers 53-29 2017- 18 cavaliers 50-32 2018-19 cavaliers 19-63 2017-18 lakers. 35-47 2018-19 lakers were 20-14 when LeBron James got injured on Christmas day. As you can see When LeBron James joins a team, the team improves more than Michael Jordan and when LeBron James leaves a team, the team always goes into the tank. Michael Jordan, excluding the 94-97 seasons, when the NBA moved the three point line to 22 feet, was a career 28% three point shooter. LeBron James is a career 34% three point shooter Michael Jordan was a great defensive player, in an Era where you could handcheck. Playing defense is much easier when you can handcheck. For nearly 6'9 250 LeBron James' entire career he wasn't afforded the opportunity to handcheck. THE EVIDENCE IS CLEAR..LEBRON JAMES IS THE GOAT!!!!! I have added a Postscript So many have replied, that LeBron james didn't make the playoffs his first two years and Jordan did. What they fail to say is, in 1985, 16 of 23 teams made the playoffs. In 2004, 16 of 29 teams made the playoffs. It was MUCH EASIER to make the playoffs in 1985, as opposed to 2004. Perfect example is, the 1985 86 bulls went 30-52 and made the playoffs and the 2004 05 cavaliers went 42-40 and did not make the playoffs. Also, I don't know, possibly, maybe, Jordan had a HUGE ADVANTAGE considering he played three years of college basketball and LeBron James was 19 years old, and straight out of high school
He doesn't need to. They want to be buddies with him right in time when he buys a new team or starts another business venture in the US. They want access to that show.
That's actually on LeBron: he was on the Cavs for seven years without a ring before he decided he wanted to get traded. You know who else went without a ring for seven years? Michael Jordan, but Mike stuck it out and used the fear of failure to hone his edge. In terms of mental fortitude and competitiveness, LeBron's progression as an All Time Great stopped once he left the Cavs. Once he found that he could cobble together a super team instead of leading a bunch of great players to championship status, he was done developing. It's like those guys who spend on a budget years building PCs, trying to squeeze every last drop of performance out of every dime, then giving that up once they have enough money and just buying them premade: same results, but your understanding of the craft has come to a dead stop.
I always ask Bron fans! What part does LeBron play in those 6 losses in the finals? We all know quote un quote Those playoff losses was all on Jordan, so I’m asking what part Bron plays in all those playoff and finals losses? They can never answer that question
All I know is no matter where Bron been and who he played with, nobody but him has those 6Ls.. When the problem follows you it's time to look in the mirror lmfao
Excellent video as usual. For Shannon to compare MJ to Westbrook shows how much of a 🤡 he is. MJ won 6 championships with Pippen as his sidekick. Westbrook couldn’t even play alongside Durant and Magic Johnson called Westbrook the worst PG in the history of the Finals when OKC lost.
LeBron James has been in the league for 2 decades and still doesn't have a jumpshot or a post game. His entire career is a manufactured media psy-op. It's never been a "conspiracy" for anyone who has watched him play
LeBron james has never had an assist to turnover ratio as bad as curry and this season shot his best at 3p% career 41%. Led the league in PPG in the 4th quarter... he avgs 5 fts lol and 2 ft in the 4th. Ok though I guess hes just not so good hes a lil old. 4 mvps at age 28 btw.
He won 3 championships BEFORE pippen (Ncaa, world & olympics) Also had myltiple scoring titles, ROY, DPOY, multiple all team nba, multiple all defence teams, steals titles, and more before 7ppg pippen
Funny how they act like Pippens 7 ppg was the reason they won their first playoff series together. How good do you think the Lakers would be without their best player in AD?
I noticed Shannon mentioning that Jordan lost to my Pistons three straight times: fair enough, a lot of teams lost to the Pistons in '89-90. What he doesn't mention is once the Bulls roster finally clicked into place and beat Detroit to get the championship in '91, Jordan did not let it go: once he finally found a way past the Pistons, he was basically unstoppable. He was even good when he was playing for the Wizards. If he didn't take his break in '94, the Bulls wouldn't have a pair of three-peats.
I’m from Germany, I saw Jordan Live twice in Chicago in 1997 and follow the league since 1993. I've never seen a player in professional sport with that killer instinct since. Yeah Kobe was near that level, but then… You can compare stats for days, but HOW you win games is a different story. Jordan has not allowed himself to lose in crucial games and has demanded this attitude from his teammates. He was the best leader you can imagine and at the same time the most feared opponent ever. No question whose the GOAT
You do know that the 1997 Jazz took out Olajuwon. We never got a Finals between MJ vs. Olajuwon. But is that MJ’s fault? The Jazz took out Olajuwon, Barkley, Drexler, Duncan, Robinson, Shaq, and a young Kobe those two years in 1997 and 1998. But yeah, Jordan only beat weak competition while LeBron is beating Roy Hibbert and a Warriors team who lost Andrew Bogut to injury. Notice Jordan won rings when he played in the deepest era of centers. MJ used to drive to the basket a lot too. While LeBron won rings in the weakest decade for centers when DeAndre Jordan is named All-NBA FIRST Team! 😂 Now that Jokic and Embiid have reached their prime, he can’t win anymore! BTW, Duncan was 2-1 in the playoffs against LeBron while Kobe is 4-2 against Duncan. Based on Finals games, Duncan is 11-4 against LeBron. Spurs should’ve won in 2013. LeBron got swept by a team who’s center was Zaza Pachulia! Scary! 😂 I enjoy watching LeBron stans lose in GOAT debates. To quote Les Grossman: I WILL MASSACRE YOU! I WILL F*CK YOU UP!
l looked up the stats for game 7 of the 1990 Eastern Conference finals Bulls vs Pistons . Jordan had 31 pts 9 assists 8 rebounds on 48% shooting. Scottie Pippen was 1 for 10 shooting with 2 assists and 4 rebounds. Players 2 through 6 for the bulls shot 19% from the field combined. 15 field goals were made outside of Jordan for the Bulls and 9 of those were assisted by Jordan. The Pistons of course won game 7 and would go on to beat Portland 4-1 in the finals. Bulls would sweep Detroit the next season's playoffs and win their first title. Fun facts: Jordan only played two full seasons before Scottie Pippen showed up(one injury season, only played 18 games). Scottie Pippen averaged 7.9 ppg as a 22 year old rookie.
Two of the big narratives are that LBJ makes everyone else better, and always makes the right basketball play…if true, then by that logic it should be all his fault when they lose
do people realize pip was a 16 6 5 player for his career? he had a few good seasons, but thats about it. also, in big playoff moments he came up short several time (like lebron). they say mj didnt win without pip. i say pip didnt win anything without mj.
@@KyprosEc yes his better attribute was defense, but its other things why he came up short so often in the playoffs. mj has the flu game, pip has the migraine game. 91 who really locked down magic? go back and watch those games. pip was in foul trouble a lot and it was mj and others guarding magic. 1996 finals pip 15 8 5 on 34%. 98 finals pip bad back. if you really think about, pip wouldnt be a top 75 player without mj as his teammate. pip had about 5 maybe 6 good seasons, but thats about it.
@trick0502 I agree with everything you just said. Notice how I never said pippen was better than MJ defensively...because he wasn't. I watched those games like you did in real time. It was Jordan locking down the best player more than Pippen. Pippen Is not a top 75 player all time to me. As a side kick he rocked it but alone he's more or less top 100. He played a role and accepted it. That needs to be respected.
I played pick up basketball last night and seriously had a 17 year old telling me that Anthony Edwards was the best player in the league and that Lebron was the GOAT because Jordan could not go left.
The only time MJ was at fault for losing a series was against Orlando when he came back from retirement. But the moment he found his grove again he swept the Magic.
Those who are done with the “90’s are gonna be shocked to find out that Anthony Edwards plays like a “90’s player his body language is very much “90. I’m excited to see what he does cause he’s give that crowd who has never watch 90’s nba players, a glimpse of the skills the 90’s players had.
You watch MJ play in the 90’s and you can see he was trying to win. He was playing JUST AS HARD ON DEFENSE as he does on offense. Brunson is not only not capable of that type of sustained defense but neither was iverson. The effort and ability was insane on defense all day
What’s always been crazy to me is that Sharpe was around in that era of basketball. I wonder what he thought of Jordan at that time as those feats were happening live.
40+ point games doesn't impress me in the modern NBA. It's an offensive league. The rules and the officiating is heavily tilted towards the offense. Just like the NFL. If you took a shot every time a player traveled in contemporary hoops you'd have alcohol poisoning by halftime.
Absolutely spot on, why does he keep going to super teams every time he starts losing again. He knows he can’t win there, and will go somewhere else. Media is horrible
Klutch Sports pays ESPN and I am pretty sure they pay Google and Meta as well. I’ve had threads here on youtube where I am critical of Lebron but in a measured tone yet I can no longer clap back at the Lebron fanboys. This happens often on ESPN’s channel. Their whole agenda is to prop up Lebron and create false narratives.
I’m a Knick fan ( since 1973 ) what Brunson is doing is historic . He’s wearing the heaviest jersey in the NBA and he is the one!!! ( KD & Kyrie didn’t want that heat ) he put the city on his back, but to turn around and downplay Jordan???? Like he ran from team to team to join up with other stars ⭐️ Is ridiculous
Remember that 2001 Allen Iverson still had the DPOTY, Sixth Man of The Year, and Coach of The Year on that team. He was the best player but not completely alone.
What's disturbing is how the NBA is allowing Klutch sports to run the NBA. Going as far as texting voters to name Lebron the MVP. David Stern would never have allowed this mess. Adam Silver is a complete push over and doesn't know how to run an organization.
Bron been out my top 10 for a while now I can’t respect a player that carries them selfs like this it’s a joke, No integrity no respect for the game and it’s legacy and past players.
That’s why Shaq smothered him when Shannon said he was salty for Jokic’s MVP. Shaq said if you’re not even in the top 10, you don’t have the right to talk about him hahahaha!
As a marketing organization Klutch sports struggles with the problem of having an inferior product. If your product is inferior you have to try to diminish the competitions product to try to compete. It is such a tragedy that Klutch sports has a top product that is the least clutch of any superstar short of maybe Harden. Should have looked at their product and picked a more appropriate name. Maybe something like Drama Sports.
Keep knocking out these truth videos on these ignorant LeBron fans who would rather read and laugh at a meme than use another 5 minutes to research it. We used to laugh at the phrase "its on the internet. It must be true" but I never would have imagined that people would actual live their life by this phase now 🙄
Scottie playoffs averages in 1989 is 13ppg, 1988 is 10ppg, also Pippen started in the NBA averaging 7 ppg, he didnt magically turned into a 20 point scorer overnight. Wade, Bosh, Love, AD, and Kyrie were all franchise players, all-stars, and received MVP votes before Lebron started recruiting and jump shipping from team to team. These narratives are so ridiculous
