I don’t think women want a man that every woman want but nobody want to be with someone that no one is checking for. In other words, you want a man that other women wish they can have but they can’t because he’s your man. Same with men. No man want a woman that not a single man alive would consider. If you the only man that want her, you start to question is she as valuable as I thought. Men like knowing that they have a woman that other men would want but can’t have. On the flip side, most women do not want a man that is always getting all the women. That’s too much drama. Just like no man want a woman that every man has had. He never said a woman should pursue a man. He said a man shouldn’t chase which I agree. There is a difference between a man pursuing and chasing. If you chasing that means what you chasing after is running from you. If a woman is making you chase, she ain’t the one. Pursuit is different. Pursue is simply showing and stating your interest and make it clear to the woman and if she’s equally interested, she won’t make it difficult for you to get her. @@BigTwin357 pursuing doesn’t take a lot of effort. Pursuing is telling a woman you’re interested. You would like to take her on date and get to know her more. Pursuing is also making it clear your intentions. If she like you too, she going to be with all of it. Now if you trying to convince her, you chasing and she probably don’t like you like that. If she know you like her but she acting funny, I’d say attempt only one more time after that but that’s it. If women giving you excuses why she’s not available to see you, talk, or text, she doesn’t like you like that so move on. If a woman really like a guy, she will be available and if she’s not available, she’s going to make sure you know when she is available. If you showing interest and she playing games and hard to get, she wasting your time. Here’s the thing about women. If she like you and want you, just letting it be known you’re interested is all it will take. If she playing games and acting funny. She sort of like you but there things in question for her. Like maybe you’re short, or broke, a street dude, got too many baby mamas, or known to have too many women but she like your personality but something about you gives her pause. Women not gonna jump at that opportunity. If you chase constantly, it’s a boost to her ego because it feels good to know a nigga is on her heavy. The trick to getting women is confidence and being sincere. It’s impossible to lose being sincere. Women biggest issue with men is they are never sincere. So when you bring something she’s not use to seeing, it automatically make you stand out.
Pursuing is an interest on both parties. (You are pursuing each other due to the interest each party shows). Chasing is one sided ( you want that person you’ll do whatever to make them want you back).
My biggest takeaway from this pod is the Moneybagg Yo discussion. Keep in mind this is not a Wallstreet dude. This Moneybagg Yo the rapper who came from the gutter like most hood 🥷🏾's. He is in completely foreign territory with starting this restaurant. He posts the menu and prices so that way people can prepare and get they pockets ready. As well as market what he is offering. And what do we as a community??? We shame this man for having average to below average pricing on a luxury steakhouse experience. But then we wonder why the build and sell method is so common for black businesses. Why would I not support this man with my dollar ? Why would I not try to contribute as much as I can to MAKE SURE he makes it. The only people standing in black way is other black people🤷🏾♂️
People often want what they can't have. Sometimes it's tied to ego, sometimes it's tied to self-esteem, and sometimes it's tied to gamesmanship. That can keep a woman chasing after the wrong guy.
I don't want a man to chase me, but I think it needs to be a mutual pursuit. I have found that when I have been more in pursuit of a man than he is of me then I'm deemed to be clingy or desperate which I am neither. But when I play it cool and the effort is matched & it's a mutual pursuit that's been my most successful relationship.
The reason you see so many western marriages dissolve is because they aren’t committed to the same mission and then realizing the mission is bigger than them. I don’t think people should hate their life in a marriage but if you “just want to be happiness” you’re going to be running away from your marriage when things get rocky and don’t resolve quickly. This is why you see a lot of arranged marriages end in death. They know why they are hear. To raise succesful children and create an upward trend for future generations. The are put together and then later fall in love.
In terms of the conversation about being happy in marriage. I believe the statement was referring to more than just your personal children. I believe it was referring to the next generation in general (that would include your children but not necessarily be exclusive to them). When you fall in love that is the foundation of how you know you are marrying the right person BUT doing life with someone means at some point there may be times where you are not "in love" or not even really happy with the person. Michelle and Barrack are a great example of this. The point is that your union is meant to be bigger than just the 2 of you liking each other. There is a purpose for the 2 of you to be together. First to build within your house, then your community and if you are lucky your union will have a positive effect on the world. If you break up because you are not happy we may not of ever see the first black family in the white house. And by the way they fell back in love. So, money is not the only focus, there is so much more spiritually and psychologically that unions offer to the environment around them. Sometimes it's financial, sometimes it's being a role model to show others how to do it, sometimes you build something as a team that is a benefit to your family or friends, community or the world. The most important thing is that what you do together would not of ever been done the same way had you been apart. Falling in love or loving the person strongly is important in the beginning but it is not the PURPOSE of being married... in my opinion.
Marriage should be about love. Happiness comes and goes but you have to live with them, combine families, etc. YOU HAVE ONE LIFE. Spending 30+ years with someone, meaning making memories, with somebody you're only worth for money purposes. Something you can't even take with you

Happiness is your own personal responsibility & choice. Do not depend on others to make you happy. Past mistakes are also personal. Don’t judge others marriages as mistakes just because it’s not up to your standards. I personally got married for love. My husband & I often reminisce about our humble, broke beginnings & honestly, we will often admit that we were much happier when we were young & broke, struggling & coming up. Not just because we didn’t have all of the bills, obligations & responsibility that came with the elevation… it was because back then we had more time with each other. It’s a struggle now to find the time. Love is not the issue… it’s time. What we believe is that we make time for the things that matter most so we push things & people aside for dates, trips, & ourselves. Everything comes second place when it comes to my husband & I. The problem with that video from 13th minute is that pursuing is NOT chasing. If you're chasing, this means someone is running from you. If you're pursuing a woman, this means she is attentive to your pursuit, she is responding in a positive way to your pursuit. That's the woman you want because she is showing mutual interest. The one running or maybe is waste of time and you should respect yourself.

They did marry for love and happiness - if your spouse died you could marry whomever you wanted/actually are in love with... plus this was so only for those in higher status not everyone (commoners) where marriage was business purposed. That is something that comes from Jesse Lee Peterson and I agree with him with that. You're parents can ruin you especially because more than likely they're in a fallen state. Fallen state means they're "lost" they're not in their purpose as a man or as a woman. That's why when you become of age, if you're Christian, it's YOUR job to come back to Christ as well as therapy. If you're not religious it's your job to get that dam therapy to get that trauma out. For a while therapy was not popular. Most people are born in dysfunctional homes whether it is one parent or two parents. Bottom line I feel like there has been generations of dysfunctional ass homes. I feel like God wanted certain things to be a certain way for a reason and most times over generations it has not been. You can believe that or not.
