(02:50) - Jeezy files for divorce (12:44) - Teyana Taylor & Iman Shumpert separated (17:40) - Do people even take their marriages seriously anymore? (37:10) - “I outgrew my marriage” (53:42) - Tyler Perry says you have to “meet people at their worth” (01:15:47) - I want my woman back.. Is it too late? (01:29:11) - Is it right to stay together strictly for the kids?
Conditional on both sides. Men leave women more when they elevate and get sick, multiple stories on multiple social media platforms and personal stories.
The Tyler Perry part brought me life. That conversation was so real. 🔥 I'm grateful for the men you all are. These discussions are necessary for our generation and the ones to follow. Thank you 🙏🏾🫶🏾
You only grow apart in marriage when you stop putting in the work. Take money out the equation and remove the notion of making the other happy and being in love; where are you growing? if your still operation in the old train of thought, you refuse to self reflect, you fail to grow in whatever beliefs you hold...you have become stagnant. Some folks really be afraid of change and in that case marriage isn't finna work because change is inevitable. So if one person wants to stay stuck in their ways and trauma and whatever else at some point that becomes beyond draining and it begins to hold the other back no matter how much they want it to work. You simply cant work at marriage alone.
Yall missed the point. Also, why was the conversation towards BLACK women who had to work hard to get out of the poverty we grew up in. Again this was a conversation for rich women. We are not that desperate to accept ANY man as long as he loves me. Lol yall literally speaking against everything yall talk about. Talking bout women who have bums on their couch, sleeping with a man who can't provide anything, etc. Again Tyler said a man that can ONLY pay the light bill. Not surprising that only men change what he actually said. A lot of us are bm of men that didn't have any money and yall told us do not date his potential. Moving the goal post lol but okay. Date the woman who can only have sex once a month and come back. She LOVES you!!! Other races don't have this conversation but it breaks my heart that black men and women cannot get along. America has really did a number on us. Love the pod and been consistently watching for months but for the first time i disagree.
LMAO you ain't no black man (or at least masculine at that) writing this paragraph and the tone of it smells like either you a female hiding behind that avatar or a Rupaul drag racer. Nice try though the fellas were right on this on all accounts
The transition of how cost of living is getting more expensive into out growing your mate is wild. Man or women you see that life is getting more expensive and we constantly tightening our budget to just sit there and never try to level up so we don’t drown in debt is wild. Like the goal should always be growing. Even if you don’t go back to school get some investments property or something Black people male or female need to play catch up cause we way behind in generation wealth. For a male or female to lose ambition in a marriage will make anyone look at you different
I witnessed how women chase NFL players firsthand. I was dating a guy on a pro team and the women that would hang out at the hotels, after practices, etc., was phenomenal! How were these women raised? I worked a full time job when I met him and kept it. Money wasn’t our deal and even after we stop dating, we our still friends to this day.
39:46 i do believe u can out grow your partner when it comes to maturing. Some people get serious about life in general and their partner can be still acting immature or doing childish things that u just can't tolerate anymore. But As far as outgrowing someone financially? I think men are more likely to be ok with outgrowing his girl because he's biologically hardwired to provide. But women are NOT built to provide so when SHE elevates & makes more money than her man, she gets uncomfortable with stepping into HIS natural role, and we all know that women are hypergamous by nature so she'll began to resent being with a man that can no longer cover her expenses because now that she's making more money, she wants a higher quality of life that HE can't necessarily afford
That’s actual facts that if you’re not willing to settle for less than you have to get comfortable with being LONELY it’s the truth this episode really made me think 🤔
Man you guys kinda tap danced on Teyana and Iman segment. I don't know how people thought they were any type of ideal couple. They had a weird open relationship foundation. Its easy to say "we have grown apart." You don't grow apart you stop working on the marriage.
1:02:03 as long as he has that dawg in him and a plan i can ride with it...Ambitious regardless of the current circumstances. But only the light bill? 😅 i can support it temporarily but permanently nahhhhhh 😂
That’s it Smuv… there will be days, months, and years, the marriage is off the tracks. But folks have sold us a lie… they’ve told us for years “ get someone that makes you happy” in context, most take it literal. So at the moment of transgression and strife … we out. Duces
I said the saaaaamme thing!!! It's like couples that's married for a long time AND it's peaceful (overall) seems like they are embarrassed to tell the challenges.... when that's that ish we NEED to know!! We make plans in case of an emergencies for everything else but only prenups for when a marriage is done. And don't get me started on how therapy's the new church and how the ppl i know that's going is paying to tell lies bc it's the latest trend. Do you know how admirable it'll be if a couple realistically had plans for all situations before emotions get involved? Like: If either of us blow funds, cheats, ...etc, we have to do XYZ for theses amount of months before anyone can give up.
Salute to ya'll!! On the Jeezy situation I did a little digging on their relationship just because I was curious couldn't remember how long they we actually together in total. They were together I think 3 years before getting married and lived together. So I dont know how he didnt find issues with her that he now found. I thought maybe the issue was she wasnt a good mother or that she put her career before being a wife & mother, but anger issues that's interesting. I know she was married before him for several years so again its interesting to me and one of the issues cited in her previous divorce was not wanting to have kids with her husband. A racial issue maybe but if it was that big of an issue why would he marry her after all that time then proceed to have a child with her.
I disagree - on both sides some leave the other person. It goes back to an individuals initial intent. Are both parties willing to work on the relationship..some people believe and will tell you I’m going to mess up again and again…do you accept the behavior? Some are not willing to adjust their behavior. It has a lot to do with behavior.
Tyler Perry don’t believe in marriage… so I don’t have a response for him wanting black women to accept struggle love. Don’t be no one’s sugar momma ladies… stay wise and realize the agenda he’s pushing. Smh… very sad
Love this. As far as outgrowing in a marriage. I love this conversation. It is in the vows. Its supposed to be❤🎉❤🎉 understood. You are in it for better or worse. I believe that topic should be covered before you say ' i do' ask questions. What ifs should be talked about to see where the potential lifemates head is before you vow forever to one another. I know right now i want a life mate that wants to grow and elevate not sit in a cobwebbed rocking chair and watch me chase my dreams, achieve them and elevate. You have to be on the same page from ' go' and vice versa. Im not sitting eating bon bons all day while you out conquering the wolves of the world. Thanks. Love this immensely!!❤🎉
It’s typical for a Woman to feel as though she has outgrown her mate and marriage. Men need to have an understanding of how a woman’s mindset is and how this works. If you can’t help ground the energy with her and in the marriage… it’s doomed if you have an ambitious woman.
You said your married most women aren't because they don't understand the mindset of men as well many of yall ain't qualified or worthy of being wives yall damn selfs
The update advice: IMO she finally slept with the dude she was talkin to when she didnt want dude. one of yall said it in june, she wanna see if the grass is greener before she decide to move on or not. she wasnt sleeping with her husband prior they was like strict roomates now they hunchin.... yeah she knows that the other yard aint it and she still hurt so she trying be cautious with her husband. She gon choose her husband but he gon have to eat that she got her lick back.
Wow! this episode appeared to speak against everything we heard about both empowering each other to the next level! This is why other generations of race STAY on our necks, when it comes to generational wealth! We gotta go to the NEXT level! Nobody male or female can afford to be lazy or stagnant any longer.
It's evident you didn't comprehend there message what they were saying is that it's more to a relationship then just money not only that we not even at the bottom financially as a race.
@@TAUJH It’s EVIDENT you didn’t do YOUR research! OTHER races of individual are ahead! I research for a living! Believe it!!!!! The brain washing will not work with this one!!!! Carry on to next comment!
@teace6984 I'm aware there are races ahead those races haven't faced or endure what some of us have or had the same disadvantages but I bet you didn't take that under consideration also Mexicans and Hispanic make less than you so like I said we aren't completely at the bottom.
@@TAUJH Sweetie this conversation is COMPLETE! Please stop arguing with a woman your giving Beta vibes! I just told you I research data for a living! Out of respect for the Fellas of Krew Season this conversation is DONE! THANK YOU!!
That man cheated after 8 years. I don't think she should take him back. He cheated on her during their engagement at 29 years old and during the third pregnancy. 13 years and he's not in love with her. Yea he might regret his actions, but he will probably likely do it again. He may even do her worse. He could change, but that's a gamble she's taking. She probably is only taking him back because they have 3 kids together and she's been out here for 3 years and hasn't found anyone else to replace him. But I think she's giving up too early 🤣 even though she has 3 kids COVID really doesn't count. So it was more like 1 year she really even got to date.
In regards to the married man who wants his wife back.... speaking from experience and completely relating to this story..... IT'S OVER. You can only do so much and when you start love bombing, it can backfire and push her farther away. Give her space....
Why ppl Always bring up what Jeanie said without context. She was with and married a wm At That Time. You gotta factor that in it. Cause you never know if she said that just to respect her marriage...since she used to always say she is very attracted to bm all the time. So it is what it is. Edit: But tbh, I don't know for sure if it's just fetish with black men. It would seem so...but I can't say for sure. Cause I know the context of it when she said that. She been married to a wm...and Always kept saying how much she likes and sooo attracted to bm All The Damn Time. So idk if that was her way of cleaning it up or not. 🤔
Hey Krew Season!!! I just want to say Thank You for All You Do,. I wanted to invite you guy's to a Small get together on New Year's Eve Night 🎊!!! If Your Interested Please Let Me Know! Thanks Again! God Bless 🙏
Men don’t sacrifice their jobs because WOMEN are intimidated, but men are. The operative word is, “INTIMIDATED”. Men do not HAVE to adapt. Find the RIGHT woman that you are equally yoked. The women you are and have been around all of YOUR lives, speak like that. I know, because I’m the very woman men have been intimidated by because I had a job and supported myself and I worked for the county! Those men weren’t for me. Women you feel you need to adapt to her needs, is not the woman for you. That simple.
I like you guys, but its unfortunate that you didn't do proper research on Jeannie. Im sick on this black man dish comment people are just picking up on blogs. There's content to this, and the girls were always could hold silly conversations. It really sad to hear what yol say, theres way more to Jeannie than what yol read on the blogs. Quite disappointed at yol.
Yeah, they didn't fully do research on that Jeanie thing...just took that clip of her saying that and ran with it. It's a lot if context to that. Nothing wrong with bringing that up if yall want...but gotta factor in that she was actually married to a wm at that time. Gotta factor in that all throughout the show...while married to that wm...she Always kept talking sooo much how she likes and is soooo attracted to bm. So then later on, she said that...maybe thinking that would clean it up a little. Idk. Could still be fetishy. Idk. But possible that she only said that because she's still married to that wm. But idk.
But regardless of the situation. Even if she was married to the wm or not, she always thought he was a side piece so why make him the main dish? We already know why. To stay relevant. Nobody checking for Jeannie or Jeezy in general frfr
@@amaj_lex I don't know that for sure. I used to watch that show a lot back in the days when it was in its prime...when I didn't have much things going on. She was married to that wm...but used to ALWAYS talk about soooo much how much she likes and is attracted to bm. So then after, she made thar crazy statement...which made it look like she just wants bm on the side...or maybe could be fetishy. But idk if she said that at that time, just to clear up her previous statements about wanting to date more bm...since she was still married to that guy at that time. So idk....maybe...maybe not. Hmm 🤔
One more thing, she prob said that abt black men, cse alot of em are quick to change their mind and be selfish than be productive, unlike in other generations they prob were more dependable. Im still hopeful thou💜💛🩷
He just dont seem like the thru thick and thin 20 yrs together type. So im not surprised. No offense. Some men soon as u hit they big toe, they onto something else easy. No judgement, ijs💜💛🩷
She shoulda kept her stance that they werent worth marriage, bt what happens often times is once 2 people like each other, they try to pass that, and thats what obviously happened.💜💛🩷
