This is SO ACCURATE. I will see this and say to myself "Yh, someone else will kill em". It so bad, that I consider suicide bombing this thing a Win. Furthermore, there was a point that I encountered so many of this tanks in one match (5/6); I decided to spend 30mins in the damage simulatior to best ways to kill them (FROM THE FRONT) 😂😂. Decided barrel, track and side shot (usually I'm in an M4 or T-34 variant). It's therapeutic killing them, and I make sure to say so in chat for maximum ratiness😂😂.
@@shahramtondkarmobarakie1824 the SARC that shot him had the 6 pounder (57mm). There also is no 76 version of the SARC, let alone a 75 version. They either have the 57 of the 40. It also doesn’t make sense regardless that it’s possible to do.

If you ever wonder how to kill this thing, the drivers port and rear of the turret (circumstances permitted) are decent spots most can reliably pen at medium range. The drivers port is only 40mm like on all KVs, meaning even SPAA can pen it if you’ve got something a bit bigger, and can result in one shots with APHE. The back of the turret lacks the extra armor all over the turret and is “just” 75mm, as opposed to the 105 that is most everywhere else. The breech area at the front is flat and easy enough to pen in a pinch if you just need them to stop firing for a moment, and failing that, just disable everything you can to make them wait longer to do anything. Now, if they have bushes, at least you can shoot them off, but it absolutely will make things much more difficult. At that point, spray them off and go from there if possible.
The KV-1B or E require knowledge of weak spots to use well, and knowledge of weak spots to defeat. Shots that kill a normal KV-1 won't always work. German 75mm guns can still kill the E fairly easily if the player doesn't panic and rush the shot, and the Sherman or even Pz IVG and H require careful aim to take out frontally, which can be pretty tricky at range. This means you can often steamroll less experienced players until you bump into someone who knows what they are doing, or get bombed. Perhaps before changing BRs of vehicles for balance, they could look at increasing the spawn costs of the more powerful vehicles in each BR range first.
I have had a lot of fun since I got it from a lootbox, what I like is that its in a lineup with a 4.0 churchill, which is a great BR for that tank. Haven't played it in quite a while though. I even got the KV-1E just because I remember having fun with this one but haven't played that one much.
The KV-1E and KV-1B both badly need to be raised in BR. I have seen so many games that end with some guy pressing W with one to enemy spawn and killing the entire enemy team
People just do not know where to shoot, and most people do not use damage inspection in hangar to se where to aim vs bucket's like this one . I am not lucky as this man , because usually my enemy know where to shoot so I do not have often games like this . And don't forget gajzila trash server that usually function on principle aim to hit and you will miss, aim to miss and you will hit. All in all not OP at all , good yes , OP not at all my dear comrad.
This video showed exactly what a good player can do with a KV-1B, but it's not just pushing W, the shots to kill things like Shermans or T-34s from the front had to be through weak spots. The Gun Carrier should have killed him easily, but didn't seem to know where to shoot. The difference in skill and experience was far more important than the difference in vehicle capability.
Some tanks really should be "tied" together... SMK < KV-1(early) < KV-1S < KV-1E < KV-1(late) If one goes up or down, the others should too. It honestly should be that way 3.3: SMK 3.7: KV-1 4.0: KV-1S 4.3: KV-1E 4.7: KV-1(late)
maybe the reason kv-1b OP bcs got lineup germany, so in that br always Face tank with pen only 90-110m max avarage 0° angle. if this thing in another country, can be pen by pz-4 easily.
It is very OP in the hands of a good player, at least. The gun is not great, you have to know exactly where you need to shoot to get easy kills with it.
How about that small window and machine gun that are made of papire and for some reason enemy just love to shoot at them 😂 Yes I know, angel , but you can't angle all the time against all the enemy. And gun is so so especially in up tired match, so that is reason why this bucket is "only" 4.0 in RB.
I’m tired of the elite players that can get 20 kills with a M22 calling for increases in br of vehicles. For us normal players that only get one or two kills a match having access to vehicles that “over perform” is a huge boost in morale and allows people the confidence to keep trying with other vehicles or to just keep grinding the rest of the tech tree.
Its about kv1b specifically, not even kv1e and the reason is it being an uparmored kv1 in german tt which means its not going to face german high power guns.
