As things stand, unfortunately not, however if Wrexham, Shropshire and Midlands Railway's open access application is approved, it is hoped they would use some of the remaining 6 ex Avanti 221s or the ex EMR 222s when they come off lease for their Euston to Wrexham services, but we shall have to wait and see.
