Dude. The fact that you haven't blown up more is astounding. You have wicked editing skills, wicked production and a great knowledge of hockey and you can drive a really well crafted narrative. Seriously man, great work! Keep it up!!
Gunnix: “My price for Erik Karlsson will be etcetera, etcetera, etcetera...” Real life: Two prospects, two draft picks, and two bottom 9 players. Have fun.
He won't, he will be shipped as a rental. He's going free agent and he's not going to sign an extension and already said he's going to get what he's worth which means highest bidder. He's not necessarily looking for a cup he's looking to get paid meaning north of 12 million AAV.
if the Leafs was able to recover from the Kessel for picks turned into Seguin and Hamilton...i think the Sens can. Even if they lose Jack Hughes to Avs, they still have a shot at Lafreniere
Jesus dude, this is closing in on being the channel to watch for hockey fans. Production is excellent and its' very entertaining even if you're not a Sens fan.
In your montage you forgot the two most depressing moments in the past Decade. Anaheim's cup victory, and the final goal that kicked us out of the cup contention against Pittsburgh.
lmao The whole thing was entertaining, but that asking price for Karlsson made me lose it completely...I loved the Big Smoke reference. Great video, man!
So if Karlsson comes back to the Sens this year, does that mean that after every single game he'll take the puck as it could be his last game?? 😋 PLEASE RE-SIGN ERIK!!!
About two minutes in your video, my mind started wandering towards frigging Pikmin of all things. I thought one of the background tracks you were using sounded a little like the Foret Navel's. Then I got a solid wave of PTSD from hearing that game's final level sound track. Memetic music choices, friend.
I'm subscribing to you not because this was a great video, or because you're a great youtuber, but because as a game collector the like 15 gaming references throughout this are too good to not earn you a sub
The Sens ownership is just horrific. There have been some bad owners in NHL history but this guy is going to end up high on the list. The fans literally saved this man's life and he's responded by bleeding them dry and killing their team. Step 1 to fixing them: brainwash the owner into selling to someone slightly less evil. Nothing good can happen while that guy owns the team. They aren't going to spend enough to retain a good team and unless the GM wants to do all the front office jobs himself...the cheapskate owner needs to hire staff and not just kind of fill the spots himself. Otherwise it seems hopeless. Glad you were more optimistic. I could sadly see all their big pending UFAs being traded for whatever they can get or walking.
Bettman would go into cardiac arrest and have a stroke at the same time if he even sniffed that Ottawa might sell. I bet that Eugene Melnyk is already getting daily phone calls from Jim Balsillie. Bettman would light his balls on fire and feed them to a goat as a flambe before he let Balsillie even have a sniff of a franchise.
Who said anything about moving, Balsillie just wanted another Ontario franchise. Bringing Ottawa back from the dead is exactly the jewel he's looking for. The problem is that Bettman likes him about as much as witches like the catholic church.
Melnyk is getting the heat for the previous owners mistake. The CTC is out in the middle of no where and fans are getting pissed at getting stuck in traffic and to drive 2 hours to get back home every night. Fans should know that attendance means more money for the team, more money for the team gives the owner a bit more flexibility to get better players and to resign their top players. So yeah, 4 players in the stands afford... well I guess they can only afford the Zamboni driver.
I know Griffin's been crackin' dingers on the new channel with his media analyses (looking to seek Mars Attacks and rewatch Back In Action), but I _am_ curious what he has to say about the NHL up thru the '22 off-season (none-the-least being the outlooks for Detroit, Pittsburgh, Seattle and a post-#MelnykOut Ottawa)
Subscribed but, you killin me on calling Pouliat trash, he was horrible in Pittsburgh but he was a very good 2nd pairing defenceman this year he is on the rise and he should get decent ice time and decent points this year
Brilliant video, as a Sens fan everything hurts right now. Don't you think Six Flags is generous for Ceci? If anything I'd leave him at a local McDonalds.
There's nothing wrong with Cody Ceci that the Leafs can't fix since they're obviously better at it than Ottawa. Somehow they traded him for someone even worse in Nikita Zaitsev. This guy is so bad he makes Ceci look like Erik Karlsson. Looks like another long winter ahead in the nation's Crapital!
