@@cake2531 The voices, from what I have seen in the comments section from other videos related to this game, are actually AI generated. I think the "devs" used Eleven Labs, though don't quote me on that.
Guys... I get making fun of this game but "speech organs" isn't a goofy fake medical term. There is more to speaking than vocal chords. You use your mouth, teeth, tongue and way more things that I don't remember now. You're just one google search away of finding out that as bad as this game is, this line wasn't a goofy medical term, they're a real thing.@@Federico-mj3si
I said it somewhere else already but "speech organs" aren't a made up term. Just google the thing. Vocal chords are not the only thing that lets you speak. There are for example teeth, tongue, mouth, and some other things. As goofy as this game is, "speech organs" isn't something the devs made up.@@ZardZardPowerRanger
Imagine how short it would be if the devs didn't force a tutorial handholding find all the NPCs in the game to talk to them. It'd have been probably 2 minutes.
From the other player's perspective they were also walking around a dead game with nothing to do for an hour, finally saw another person, and decided to just instantly shoot them dead
I love that one of the objectives is to inform someone that you’ve regained consciousness, as if the act of actually talking to them doesn’t communicate that already.
That's actually an amazing concept. Like an Assassin's Creed type thing where the character is inside a video game simulation so aliens can study how humans behave? And things constantly just feel kinda "off", like the "speech organs" comment?
Chris must think the main character is mentally disabled Chris talks like he is speaking to a young child and repeatedly reminds his name is Chris every conversation I have never seen such deep character design and dialogue in a video game
When Gollum was released, Daedalic ended up closing their studios over a month later. This game releases and Fntastic Studios closes up 4 days later, the game has also since been removed from the Steam Marketplace. Side Note: I recognize that tune at the end, First 3 Spyro games always had great music.
@@garyoakham9723 I'm not sure what your comment is trying to say, but assuming it's saying that people play games instead of having children, A.) You can do both, you shouldn't give up your hobbies completely, you just need to prioritize and B.) If you don't want to be a parent then you definitely shouldn't start a family. It's not really choosing hobbies over children at that point, it's choosing to do what you want and what's better for the unborn child
Fntastic invited us to take part in a test task of writing a soundtrack for their game. The task was formulated as poorly as possible and with contradictions, and they gave 2 references, each of which is different from the other and not similar to what was in the task text. As a result, we were not hired, and, of course, the task was not paid for; they chose a person who did not even try to somehow fulfill the points written in the task, but did something completely different: an ordinary trailer track.
Nah. They made this game in like 1-2 months with all storebought assets and animations. Will die before the next bigger patch, and they will throw in an alliby patch or two.
Whats more impressive is people bought this game despite the massive amounts of controversy, fraud accusations, blatant proof of plagiarism, and the millions of red flags before the launch. All that happened and they were like, “Yep this game could be good.”
The fact that people are actually complaining that its shit and giving it publicity is the most impressive part. It was known long ago that this would not be a game worth spending a dime on
@@fairyfire6481 honestly i don't understand why they have this need for "the next great game" every 2 years or every year nowadays. there's a big whale % that will buy anything just from a trailer. and somehow will not wait 2 hours since release to be able to see if it's any good or not.
@@leroyjenkins2830i see people respond like this a lot to someone being annoyed of people just quoting lines from the video. Youre realise theyre sarcasticly telling the person their comment was unneeded right?
Very impressed, this is the first game that allows the player to get off the bed. That surprise appearance by Leonard solidified this as my Game of the Year.
They lied once again. They aren't closing, just quietly renamed the studio and will probably attempt their next scam now. They've done this multiple times already.
That’s how you what you’re in for, playing a game that was released THE DAY BEFORE they realized that they dun goofed making a fake MMO (more like extraction shooter) that plays like the pre-patched pc release of TLOS minus story, atmosphere, or originality
Not "try getting up" or "try standing up" or "try walking around" No, they went with "try getting off the bed", a very realistic line that a real person would definitely say
"Doctor, I have successfully removed myself from the bed. What do you believe should be my next action going forward in time?" "Alright, your speech organs seem fine."
@@gnomepheus4195Did you ever consider: if an account has made it 10 years without being banned, maybe it's not that harmful regardless of whether it's a bot
These guys built one of the coolest looking vertical slices and then five years later decided to actually slap something together. Truly innovative marketing and game development
That opening is so close to Fallout: New Vegas that I'm shocked that a guy named Danny didn't shoot you in the head for a gold token after saying "The activity was unbalanced from the beginning".
I was thinking the same thing, they really just stole the opening from NV. Probably with the hopes that the association with a great game would trick players into thinking this game is good or misguided thinking that the doctor visit is why NVs opening is brilliant
It cracks me up that the description for the roamer class at the beginning says, “with the onset of the apocalypse, you set a goal to change your life for the better.” Like how and why does the apocalypse inspire someone to start improving their life if they were a drunkard before? 😂
Good point. I was going to say that's actually kind of an inspiring angle to take, then I thought about it for two second and realized it makes no sense. When an apocalypse happens, most people will throw away their morals and/or their will to keep their brain functioning.
Mostly just found it annoying. Granted, he was emphasizing how dull the start of this game is, and it doesn't really get a lot better, but if this were Dunkey's usual content I would not be subscribed.
I just finished playing the last of us for the first time when this video released. I'm so glad to see a continuation of the lore from such an inspired spiritual successor.
For I handed on to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the scriptures; that he was buried; that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the scriptures 1 Corinthians 15:3
Honestly, I'm baffled that this game was highly anticipated. I forgot it even existed less than 5 seconds after I first heard about it and I did not see a single person talking about it in any of the online circles I hang around in, and some of them were ones I definitely would have thought would be talking about a game like this if anyone cared.
