me too, the penalty system is a joke. You could've been sandwiched between 2 cars and got penalties for essentially being a passenger at that point, meanwhile the system somehow thought that what this Corvette had done isn't worth for some kind of penalties

Because the game just came out, safety/driver ratings will take a bit to distribute players more naturally to their true skill level. This happens whenever a new game with this kind of feature comes out. It’s ordinarily a growing pain of new rating systems. That is of course under the assumption that there isn’t something drastically wrong with Turn 10’s matchmaking system. Give it a few weeks and things will (hopefully) balance out properly.

I use ABS and TCS Sport and I did not use clutch for this Viper.

no clutch for cars with race transmission

he has to use tcs and abs because hes on keyboard but if youre on controller or wheel its def a good idea to get used to driving without them. He also seems to be using manual without clutch.

What’s also crazy is that first online race ever today on Hokone. I was having a battle to keep first was making the turn in guy didn’t give me enough space and couldn’t break quick enough to avoid contact. Basically forcing me into an accident, went into the gravel and then proceeded to get a 4 sec penalty. I could’ve at least gotten 2nd overall but got bunked down to P5 unbelievable

When do you guys finally get it: the times when game devs tested their games with game testers before released are long gone. The customer is the tester nowadays and when you buy a game on day one, you work for them as a tester for free. It's not rocket science to understand that after a decade. They can do whatever they want, like your only drug dealer can. They both know you are addicted and they know that you will always come back.

@@BardhanProductionstry to press progressively on the gas during a standing start and during turns and go check your assists for traction control and stability control, those might help you since it front-engine rear-wheel drive and have tendency to spin on.
