Ha LOL - Loved your reaction to Dan's videos!! Yes! Watch ALL his videos - I did - he's always entertaining! He's so talented - and yes he can make his voice/vocals sound like other singers - like for Journey, Queen, AC/DC and others. Insane! He was in the Brazilian army for 2 years after high school and still fits into his actual army jacket he's wearing. He's always been super fit, takes good care of himself & his voice (money-maker), and lifts weights today. Check out all his videos and buckle up for the ride! So much fun!!! Dan and Tommy together would absolutely destroy the internet! They are my two favorite musicians, and a collab would be absolutely amazing! Totally agree on that Dan Vasc is amazing and I'm a big Tommy fan. As for a collab btw them two- yes,yes,yes. I heard Dan Vasc singing Dleeping Sun the other day and that was almost better than Amazing Grace. That song had a good guitar solo in it, and that was my first thought- Dan and Tommy doing that song together. It would blow up internet. Do listen to Dan sing Sleeping Sun and see if you don't think the same.
I have this song as no 1 on my playlist for the car, and everytime i play it inside the house, my 8 months old puppy thinks we're going for a ride and gets all exited😂😂 He loves Dan's music as much as i do.
Dan's ability to emulate the style (and even sound) of the original singer, yet give his own fabulous energy, in covers is astounding!! (Steve Perry, Bon Jovi, Robert Plant, Freddie Mercury). Yes, he is super-star quality without a doubt!!! The more of his covers I listen to, the more blown away I am! A true gem!

Amazing! Loved Dan's guitarist. omg, is he ever good ! Dan Vasc rules. I am 74 years old, and I never liked heavy metal until I heard him. Now he has me captured. EVERY song he does from metal to opera is out of this world.
I have a hard time coming up with a favorite of Dan's, but this one runs a good third, or second, or first, or...yeah...depends on the one I just listened to...or will be listening to in a few minutes...you know? (sigh) Joakim is pronounced Yo' ah keem' (with both of the accent marks) (and a "Svedisch" accent--grin). I love how Dan finds just the right version of a song he wants to cover, then he models his cover on that version, BUT...he also adds his own special touch(es). This one is one of the best, I think. Dan rolls even more often though, it seems to me, but I could be wrong. But, I do know that Dan's rolls come naturally. I love Sabaton, but I actually like Dan's rendition even better.

Even in their great tour videos, the band members say it different from each other. Most begin with a YO, & most end with a Kim and/or Keem. I think it was Paer that says it like you show. Joakim himself says it too fast for me to tell. One of these days, hopefully an interviewer will grill him for us.
I had preferred if he had made the song more his instead in trying to "copy" it. Prefer Sabatons version easily but it doesn't mean this guy isn't worth listen to. He's skilled. 🤓🇸🇪
I can agree with you on this one. Not all cover artists create unique and fresh new arrangements on their covers, opting instead for a faithful homage to a version they may love as is. Dan does both types, and very well. I do personally appreciate the effort and skill involved in both types of covers, but, I especially love a powerful and unique interpretation the most. 😊
Dan Vasc is good in this cover, but I prefer Jonathan Young's version. He plays all the instruments in the video. But then, I prefer Jonathan Youngs version of everything 😂
Oddly enough, this is one song that I absolutely love the same by all three artists I've heard it by - Dan, Sabaton, and Jonathan - and if I hadn't ever heard Dan, I never would have found the other two, plus all the other great musicians and RU-vidrs I follow now, and I wouldn't have so many great new friends all over the world. Music truly can change the world!🤘🤘🤘
@Reactions by D I concur, kinda... vocal mimicry is a skill! Like I'm friends w Mark Slaughter from the 80s band Slaughter...he works for the Cartoon Network doing voices, and he can mimic anyone's singing voice too...its really something!
