Tbf plenty of professional athletes don’t get support and Maurten are notoriously not big on sponsoring athletes. I don’t think it came across super salty though, just a smidge 😂

Maurten is good, but there are plenty of other options out there. I hope he explores those when going into his next marathon. Personally I can highly recommend 6d sports nutrition.

Good luck man! I started running 4 years ago and just smashed my half PB with a 1:21:18 a week ago in perfect race conditions. I'm 42 so racing the clock to go sub 80 minutes before I'm too old!

I race self support, and the idea of "bottle service" would blow my mind. And my spouse would love not having to stand at the halfway point with 2 fresh bottles to hand to me, and get crazy anxiety that she somehow misses me! LMAO. Good-luck at your race Ben.

Good luck Ben! I'll tune in to your race after running my own first marathon the same day as Copenhagen ( Vancouver) cheer on Ben Preisner if you see him, he pulled up halfway in hamburg last week to try another shot for the qualifying time. Thomas Broatch is another Canadian going for it in Copenhagen. So far we only have 3 qualifiers between the men and women.

Hi Ben. First of all gl on your race sunday here in copenhagen. I got a small tip for your gels I use myself then I doing Ironman. I use a little bottle where put my gels in and i put a little bit of water in so it can be drink like my elektrolytter. On my gel bottle i use a waterprof pen to mark up for every gels. Then I dont need to struggle with open my gels on my run. Again gl sunday and hope you get a nice run.

Hi Ben, if you buy Maltodextrin and Fructose to mix it by yourself, add a pinch of salt it will cost you roundabout 1,50€/100g
