This video started out pretty on point but lost it just over half way in. “Insane” alliance didn’t include Insane UnKnowns. Spanish Cobras used Insane Spanish Cobras going back to the 1970s. The “Insane” part of the name is actually the source of the beef between the ISCz and IUKs. Also, the reason the IUKs went after the LDz to begin with was because alliances had already formed and they were already rivals because of their different alliances.
This kinda off a lil bit but you got most of it right. Before we were a gang we started off as a baseball team. Majority of the gangs around Humboldt back then were baseball teams. And it wasn’t the GDs that let us in.. it was King David of the BDs who brought us to the folks side. The Latin Disciples had already existed and been around. It wasn’t until the older folks met with David and stamped us in 🔱Amo MLDn
How do you feel comfortable admitting to be a Latin Disciples OG in the comments section of a RU-vid video ? Are you out of the life now and commit 0 crimes ? Because I would never open myself up to a gang enhancement especially not over a YT comment 😂
@@benm38 Bro when was the last time somebody got arrested Especially probably an old timer admitting to being in a gang decades ago On a RU-vid comment.. Hes not making videos saching videos saying hes committed these recent crimes and has the blicky on him blah blah blah You really think hes gonna catch a gang enhancement for that. You're a fool
🇩🇴 gotta show some love to Dominicans too man. They were spread out. Not as united as the ones here on the east coast. But I got some OGs from the west side who been putting in work since the 80s. 💪🏾
@@baymaster20 Folks you from cali lol .king david died before folk nation or People Nation even started he didn't get to see all different races under the folk shii or the Fin
@@locustltz400 look at any place now without leadership. Chicago the way it is now because they thought lockin up the leaders would kill the gangs it just made 100 times worst there no rules and structure now OGs that are left Can't be Ogs because they scared of going to jail
Bruh i love all the old school Chicago gang sweaters. Cold asf. For those who dont kno, most gangs back in the day had their own sweaters made up with gang names, colors and symbols almost like a uniform. Members would take off their sweaters when walking thru rival turf as a sign of respect. Also, the sweaters were trophies for rivals. To get ur sweater taken was the ultimate disrespect
This isn’t only in Chicago. Cali’s been doing it for longer. 1910’s to now. Oldest jacket I’ve seen was from a gang in LA called DogTown. That set has been around since the 1920’s
Lol kids today don't got the balls to wear gang colors. They all wear the same shit. Tee shirt and super tight skinny girl jeans, or hoodie and super skinny girl jeans, or winter jacket, beanie hat and super skinny girly jeans 😂😃😃
To immigrate just means to move from one’s homeland. The island of Puerto Rico is that homeland for y’all. Otherwise why call yourself Puerto Rican and not just American.
Gotta do more videos on the Latino gangs in Chicago. Harrison Gents , Jivers , Cobras , Dragons , Gangsters , Ambros , 26 , Saints , Raza , Bishops , SD’s , Kings , MK’s , Bishops and many more
I grew up in wicker actually in the early 90’s for years. My grandfather was here in the 60s and an og from the playboys they eventually had a unification with black disciples and one other gang i think and they were one of the first multiracial gang in chicago. Man wicker was crazy back in the 90s but even crazier during my grandfathers time. He actually passed last year on my birthday, rip. He was friends with everybody we have family that died for jivers and have always been close with their leader. My father died with latin kings when i was 5 but came to us as a teen to escape cartel life. God Ive seen it all. Also crazy to keep hearing about wells hs. This was really cool man thank u.
There's also YLO-Ds, YLO-Cs, Sin City Royals, Almighty Latin Players, Latin 4CHs, Spanish Lords, Stylers and so on. These are said because I didn't see them in the first few comments too. Chicago has gotten better but the 80's through the early 2000's were crazy. You don't see too many rammers riding around anymore or any of that. The 90's was hot in Humboldt Park and Logan Square too.
It isn’t Sin City Royals, it’s Simon City Royals, unless you mean Sin City Boyz? It’s Spanish 4CH (not “Latin). Also, do you mean Almighty Latin Pachucos?

Where from? HW? OD? SI? Just curious really, I was a little kid at Iowa and Springfield. Then moved to KTown as a teen and later to Riis Park (when IUKs were at Riis).
Man it’s been a while since I heard someone say the name Elvy tha god. I had completely forgot his name and was thinking about him the other day. Thank you for reminding me.
I love learning this side of history from my hometown that I knew very well existed but never knew how it began lol. A few of my friends were part of some of these gangs. And that’s one thing I remember. When the neighborhoods fell apart many of these guys actually helped out in making it better and safer. Safer for moms to walk down the block with their kids, (me one of them lol) so yeah it was a whole community. I grew up in Little Village in the 80’s
I’m surprised at the people who don’t know we have a huge Latin population. Sinaloa cartel has a huge hub here. Northwest side with Humboldt Park and Hermosa you got MLDs and Kings. Southwest side has the SDs, Counts, 26 and others. My aunts neighborhood in McKinley Park by 37th and Wood is rough now. That’s counts territory. There was just a shooting recently where a cousin of my cousin was killed. Yes I know how that sounds but it’s my dads side of the family and it’s so confusing lol.
That is true wat u said but half tho it not only sinaloa cartel also los guerrero unidos cartel and la familia michoacan it all different bro i knew few mexicans that travel to chicago and told me that they do work with IG and eagles and SD and latin kings and MLD by hermosa park to logan square and to humboldt park they love chicago and they even said it it too wild later on the night they mention fullerton and cicero and north and pulaski lol i even went to mexico iguala guerrero and i met a latin king who got deported he from lil village and now he work for the los guerrero unidos i forgot he is dead now lol 😂
I grew up with The Maniacs and I was the only one who didn't become a maniac way back when Hitler karate freak and Don Pacheco were the men along with Pete the burner who made it happen. It was different then it was more about colors and Hood.
It was very different then, all about colors, the hood and show respect and get respect (just take off your sweater when going through someone else’s hood). Now things are completely different and you can’t even trust your own anymore.
@@GhostSal Your definitely right because I can remember that just as you do and your right it was about colors and respect party sweaters across one arm folded was a sign of respect for other's area's, and war sweaters where worn in times of conflict.
Every beef in Chicago were equally deadly! Each gang in Chicago contributed to the violent history of Chicago! So it’s almost impossible to say what beef was more deadly when those beefs are still going on!
@@bigroger99 I wouldn’t say they bully la raza cause they be busting back as hard as the saints do Idk about the SDz tho they be going at it with the kings more
The early 90's were crazy af in Humboldt Park. I was an Insane Dragon from Fairfield and Augusta back then. I remember a huge war we had with the Maniacs one summer. Been so long I can't remember why, though. I'm grateful I survived all that crazy shit.
I know some black dude i wont mention his name but he was there wen they started the maniac campbell boyz he told me alot of stories about insane dragon and the insane campbell boyz alott stories all i got to say is DAMN INSANE CAMPBELL BOYZ YALL TOOK TOO MANY LOSSES lol crazy humboldt park
kan u do a swamp stories on detroit n some of the gangs from there, as in the 7 mile bloods (smb, redzone) beef with 6 mile/cedar grove (cheddar boyz, 42, hbgb)
James Evans Jr., known as "Kid Dyno-mite" on the streets back then, brings up the fact that the Warlords and Satan Knights were the hardest gangs in Cabrini Green in the 70s. When those two gangs went to war it was not good times.
Yeah I remember that cat. A painter, I think. We called him JJ. He had a cute sister, Velma, and a younger brother, Michael. His dad died and his mom went to stay with relatives. I think he does TV commercials for Medicare nowadays.
...He left out the fact that all these neighborhoods were Irish & Italian, not Eastern European. The Polish, German and Slavics didn't come till much later. ...Also the neighborhood he referred to as "North Center" is actually called "North Halsted" aka "Boyz Town." Because it holds the highest concentration of LGBT. Unless he meant to say "River North" aka "The North Loop," which is where the Cabrini Projects is. It's also just south of Boyz Town. North Center is just a commercial area. ... Also when he started talking about the neighborhoods gentrification, he listed 2 suburbs as "low end/income." Cicero could be considered low end, but NOT Oak Park. Oak Oark/River Forest is a upper middle class black&white neighborhood. Alot of the Latin Folks and Latin Kings went further north to towns like Palatine, Prospect Heights, Round Lake, Melrose Park, and Waukegan.
We used to go at it with the d's from grand city in the 90's and early 2000's ask them about the 4 corner hustlers just down the way from them now alot of them are my homies all love
@@TheChicagoJunkieEast of Pulaski we weren't clicked up with them west of Pulaski but they we're our brothers that's when shit was structured I don't know what they doing down there now but we used to have an army down there
Maniac Latin Disciples are known for sure...but GDs are the real Top Opps. GDs are everywhere and were reportedly responsible for almost half of the body count for several years, if not longer, in Chicago. With the influence these different crews have, it's a shame they are losing structure and don't promote more growth, development and positivity. Let's do better for the community and future generations. 🖤💙💯
If you look at Chicago gang maps, you can see that GD’s definitely have the most territory and some of the largest hoods in the city. Even in Colorado, I’ve met GD’s. So yeah, they really are everywhere.
That's right. The groups that became Ds through Hoover have "Gangster" in front of their names, or either they became a part during the Hoover/David (B.G.D.) era. Disciples linked with Hispanic gangs to level it out with their main opps, the Vice Lord's and Stone Rangers, which were part of a giant gang conglomoration.
@@windycity312 why can’t u Latinos just stick to working hard and being Christians instead of doing this gangbanger shit all this stuff is toxic and is all a product of el Diablo
@@windycity312 most Latinos I know are hard working and no matter how much struggle they go thru they be eating good. So i just don’t understand why Latinos gangbang
A lot of gang have started because of Latin Kings , they are the true biggest ops , Not saying the whole nation is on bs because not every Lk hood on that business, which is why some territory got lost and then later on taken over , not because they ran em out but most likely because of indictments and all that ,but I’ll guarantee you that LKz are giving the belt in the city , if you from the City then yk how the Lkz get down ,
I had no idea the influence of Latinos in Chicago. The media almost always portrays it as black on black crime there. Plus I’m on the west coast, so we don’t have none of that out here.
There's a big Big Latino community in Chicago lot of Puerto Ricans and Mexicans. Chicago is the motherland to the Latin Kings they started in Chicago and eventually branched off to other cities. You always hear about New York as far as the Puerto Ricans and Latin Kings. But it all started in Chicago. Even in my city Milwaukee which is an hour and a half or so from Chicago. On the southside of Milwaukee there's a lot of Latinos. All the same gangs from Chicago the Black and Latino gangs are all right here in Milwaukee always have been
