Hello, Raonoke. I wanted to say thank you for narrating my story. I was honestly ecstatic when I saw how many people tuned in here to listen to your fantastic narration of my story, Mistman. I hope to put another one out - one that's way better. - Lochlann Gallive :)
@Trenton Staggs they didn't use their actual names in the first movie (haven't watched the second yet) they just called each other by the cities they were heading to IIRC.
This was so depressing. I still kinda love it, and I normally don't like depressing stuff, but this seemed to fit. Though I hope some story comes out to flesh out what the Mistman is and how he works.
I don't comment often but I've been subbed since the start of the channel here, but I wanted to say how much better these stories have gotten. The editing of effects, the narration, everything has improved substantially. Awesome job Roan', just awesome.
Story time with Papa Roanoke! Loving the uploads my guy, getting better with every one! That's saying something, considering your uploads and channels are already amazing. Also the text chime is a great touch!
Ayyy glad you are liking them bro and thank you for the compliment! Happy they arent so ear splitting now, Im not THE most emotive person but I think I am starting to figure out how to get them to that point, thanks for watching!
"Deaf in one ear, as usually happens when you take a warm shower." I'm sorry what? I never go deaf in one ear from taking a warm shower, whoever wrote this needs to go see a doctor or something.
“I noticed I was deaf in one ear, as normally happens when you take a warm shower.” W h a t ? I have been laughing for the last like 20 minutes of this story, it’s just. So amateur.
So I'm assuming he took Colorado's mother as well but if that was the case than why take our hero unless the mother was just being temporarily possessed. It just seems like an unnecessary death to me.
Anyone else feel like the dialogue in this story was super unnatural? It felt to me like it was written in a way where the characters don’t actually feel human
They’re modern-ish teenagers/kids but they speak like 40-year-old men from the 30s. The dialogue is written very stiffly-also “panting like a Cheetah” pulled me right out of the story. Excuse me what lol
That door knock scared tf out of me. Was idly playing Kenshi while listening and the door knocking sounds made me jump and grab my rifle until the second knock I realized it’s a recording. (It’s 2:06 am, I normally don’t grab the rifle when someone knocks 😂)
I've watched several of your story videos from when you started to now and i see that you have improved, in the beginning and for a while you were speaking far to quickly and droning as if reading from a page instead of speaking from the narrators point of view. You do still drone at times and it can be hard to differentiate between characters as you speak. My advice would be to change the pitch of your voice as you shift between characters, assigning each a voice of their own and remembering the emotions surrounding their words. An example is that Colorado was terrified and desperate while the narrator was unnerved and fighting for his life. I greatly enjoyed this newest entry, and I look forward to more.
Not meaning to be a jerk, but, is this supposed to be in the SCPs playlist? Not all the way through the story, but, not hearing any Foundation elements.
2 octaves lower, with a 25% slower delivery might serve you well in this endeavor. Could provide more range . Or not. Either way I'm pulling for ya. Peace.
Finally got to watching it, and oh boy did this one give me some chills. The narration was great the subtle noises here and there just added to the whole feeling of the story. It's pretty terrifying when you think about how people, friends, family, hell even people you just knew earlier in life, be completely changed by fear, desparation, and madness. The very fact Colorado had seemingly lost himself to the Mist Man shows just what he can do to people when he enters their lives. It makes we wonder if this was fabricated by his (Colorado's) own mind, or if the Mist Man just is. Anyways, enjoyed the video. Great job as always. I've got shorter classes today so that'll be fun.
Sup how are you doing today. and I want to tell you a story when I was 8 or 7 years old L was sleeping I had a dream I saw all red and something was taking and it happened 3 days or more and when I got older it stop and something happened me and my old brother stayed up he said he saw a pointy tell after that lots of creepy things happened in my grandma House
