I am crying of nostalgia here after having watched the last trailer of tears of the kingdom... I was a little girl who had lost her father to a sudden heart seizure a year earlier, when this game was published. I remember the relief that this entertaining masterpiece has given to my little suffering soul, a distraction much wanted that somehow gave me strength back then, infused with the epicness those amazing developers had put in that game. Now, as a geek adult, I am experiencing the same relief even with a much more stronger soul waiting for another super epic game that already looks like the very top of the entire series. Thank you Nintendo.
It might of been an early attempt at putting the triforce in there since I can see it as two triangles pointing in opposite directions too, but the image of an eye is unmistakably there too, I agree.
Someone might possibly recreate this game as “The Legend of Zelda: A Lincoln to the Past” and substitute the video game’s main protagonist with Lincoln Loud (a character from Nickelodeon’s The Loud House).
