Dude what happened when the 2nd dungeon entrance collapsed? I thought you were joking when you said it wasn't supposed to happen. Surprised that sequence is coded into the game.
@@Djewell314 Mmm, not really. That's a weird rumor that doesn't make sense. The Zelda license belongs to Nintendo, not Capcom. Moreover, the actual developer (Flagship, a Capcom subsidiary) was actually funded by Nintendo (as well as Sega and obviously Capcom). Like, I really don't get why people think somehow Nintendo gave up rights to Zelda. Nintendo straight up owns the Oracle games. If there were legal blocks, the games wouldn't have ever been made available through Virtual Console. It's a really stupid rumor that I really wish would go away already. There's no legal anything going on with the Oracle games. If Nintendo is dragging their feet on remaking them, it's a question of money and ROI. Or they could be worried about the fact that the LA Switch engine wasn't super amazing performance-wise. Fixing that would cost even more money, and I would guess they wouldn't want to release more games with the same issues. All said, I strongly suspect we'll see the Oracle games remade sometime in 2022.
Couple of things. First, fuck the Goron dance. Most frustrating thing in Zelda outside of the horse race you have to do to enter the Gerudo area in Majora's Mask. Second, I much prefer Seasons but I love both games. Third, I wanna see a run that combines both Oracle games with the intent of getting all the secrets. Probably a nightmare logistically but still, I think it'd be cool.
Yeah I wish they would remake the Oracle games for switch maybe make it one game you could still have passwords I'm sure for nastalsia sake a remake like. Links awakening would be golden
Best handheld Zelda games, and I say that as someone whose first LoZ game ever was Awakening. Also, both Seasons and Ages had some certified BANGERS. Nayru's song at 18:18, Queen Ambi's palace at 1:27:29, and Dancing Dragon Dungeon, Tarm Ruins, and Skull Pirates from Seasons? Magnifique.
It's cool seeing GlyphDX again after his LADX run. I only got to play the Oracles just a couple of years ago (as I never got them when I was younger, and the carts are rare as shit), and each game took me between 10-12 hours to complete each. To do it in just an hour and a half, with those tricks... mindblowing. Sick run Glyph!
Crown Dungeon and the minigame gauntlet that follows it are the sole reason Seasons is my favorite of the two. Without that horrible section it would be a toss-up.
@@ihavenonoseandimustsneeze the streamer didn't move, the timer didn't change and the voice didn't skip. Kinda jarring. Might have been a fix for a sound/video desync?
The gbc is completely capable of 60 fps (technically it's 59.73) gameplay. Including the refresh rate of the screen. Although I had a crappy capture card at the time that could only capture at 30 fps so what you're seeing isn't it's full framerate. -GabeLogan (formally known as GlyphDX)
