The world of Avatar wouldn’t be anything without… well… The Avatar. Unified with the spirit of Raava, the Avatar serves as the bridge between the spirit and physical worlds and is the only person capable of bending all four elements. Also, due to their connection with Raava, the Avatar reincarnates through the cycle of elements Water, Earth, Fire, and Air, reborn into each nation successively. The Avatar has been reincarnated an unknown number of times, but the Avatar Wiki estimates that there have been approximately 133 Avatars from Wan to Korra. We don’t know them all, but that won’t stop us from telling you everything we do know about the ones that have been recorded.

Mortal Kombat Lore is pretty fucking dope. Comics, spinoffs, web series, animated movies, several timelines, realms, alliances. Highly underrated, and highly entertaining and depthy. Story telling might not be as fluid and concrete as Avatar. But the character development and personalities are unmatched. Way beyond Avatar. And it’s so fun to fall in love with characters and know their ticks and reactions.

They could also explode Dicks or freeze balls. Earth bending could've gone to poo bending and you give your foes constipation, or make them shit themselves on the spot. Another water bending idea: brain freeze. You know how you can pop your neck and knuckles. Well those air pockets, air bender could inflate your neck. They could also explode your stomach by forcing air in their letting your own acids do the slow job. Fire bending does seem like the most non psychopathic bending.

The Pro-Bending seems to take notes from various wrestling traditions from around the world in real life. The rule of being knocked out of the ring is from Japanese sumo wrestling, while the taunting is more in line with American wrestling. Would like to see this again in new stories.

Something that still doesn’t make sense to me is that the spirits including Raava saw all humans as evil and Wan was the first human to them that could be selfless and kind, yet in the air bending lion turtle we see humans and spirits living together.

12-13 years not 30. Aang was born literally the second Roku died. Aang was 12 when he froze himself in the iceberg. Sozin presumably waited at most a year after that for the comet to arrive.

They shrunk her a bit. When she stood down Chang the Conquer she appeared to be 2 feet taller than him. So let's say he was short like 5 foot 2 this would make her at least 7 feet. Her 👢👢 in the museum where ginormous. But now she's the same height as Roku it appears.

I think the only reason Roku showed Aang Szeto but no avatar before Szeto is because since Szeto was the last Fire nation avatar before Roku, Roku didn’t need to go further back than Szeto to connect/reconnect with his past lives like how Aang only needed to go as back as Yangchen the air nomad avatar before him the reconnect with his past lives, and why Korra’s connection stop at Kuruk the water tribe avatar before her when she was looking for her memories before having to dig deeper to find Wan. Yangchen most likely one of small percent of Avatars that could connect to all of the previous Avatars. She might not be the only one though

See i was confused by that too. Especially because the harmonic convergence happens every 10k years and when wan was involved as the first avatar, it would have been 10k years until harmonic convergence in korras time so i feel like there would have been a lot more avatars within 10k years

The avatar cycle is: Fire. Air. Water. Earth. So the fourth person was an earth based avatar…. So the 128th avatar would also be earth and starting over would make Kora the 131st (this is based off math, but I’m only 13 minutes in and I love both shows but don’t recall anything that would indicate how many avatars there are. In the beginning of this video he mentions about 133 … so that’s why I went to numbers around there

@@SKdt-jl7of the rushed off killing Aang. They shouldn’t have made it too modern. With technology what’s the use of an Avatar. Korra was just too heavy on romance that didn’t make sense. We needed the new Avatar learning new techniques like metal, swamp and blood bending. Getting ride of Azula was too much. She should have been the one killing Aang. It got too peaceful to the point were Korra irrelevant. Would rather they focus on previous Avatars before Rokku

Cause she did learn metal bending and spirt bending taking it to another level by creating another spirt portal and the technology in Korra isn't that advance their was literally a drill in last airbender, and air crafts, tanks etc and what rush thats literally the whole point of the avatar they die and reincarnate and korra wasnt heavy on romance we only seen it in season one of korra and some part of season 2 cause that's where it stops and its not bad tbh cause even in last airbender they had romance also

@@jarinxcii263 No they didn't. Aangs story ended and they told what they wanted to tell in the comics. The technology jump in Korra was not at all unreasonable the real world itself has a noticeable jump in technology just like it, and we didn't have people that could lightning bend to produce energy or metal bending for shaping metal with precision. The love triangle shit sucked but I swear people exaggerate how much of the show it took up. Why would Azula be killing Aang? What you seem to want sounds worse written than what we got. The fact at times it felt like the title of avatar wasn't needed was literally the point. Her journey was also literally the opposite of Aang's, he excelled with the spiritual part of the role and struggled with the physical and even was hesitant to even be the Avatar, while Korra embraced the role and struggled hard with the spiritual aspects.

In my opinion, the avatar cycle would've continued as normal, aang still might have slept for 100 years because if I remember correctly (havent seen the show in a while) he slept because he was being taken away from his friend. He would've woken up to a perfectly normal world, and would have died at a normal age (excluding the whole 100 year sleep thing) Basically, the war wouldn't have happened

There were thousands of avatars. Said by Roku talking too Jeong Jeong. Also Vatuu comes back every 10k years. So , therefore Wan too Korra was 10k years or 1k avatars
