The Long Dark v.301 | Steam (Early Access)
Time lapse of a journey from the Pleasant Valley transition zone to the summit of Timberwolf Mountain. NOTE: This is not the only path to the summit, just one I believe requires the fewest exhausting rope climbs to the top.

This really is a pretty soundtrack. Lovin The Long Dark as i am new to it and so playing a NOMAD experience on my game along with yours from the start as a way to learn :) ty Willow! :D

Enjoyed the video, but you must have edited out all of the eating, sleeping, etc. from the journey - correct?

Well, yes and no. I did it in Pilgrim, so I only needed to cut once for eating/sleeping. I only cut one other time for an ankle sprain, but that was it.

Ran into a bear in my game at around 3:15... the torch did FA

Yep, I ran into him just a bit further up near his cave. Luckily I had a rifle in tow, and I was able to climb up on those hills to the right side and killed him. So my summit adventure also included a fresh black bear pelt. lol

This is from 2015. They changed the map after this i believe because my map isn't the same after the first engine (around 1:42) even maps are not correct so i'm totally fvkd up right now
