Amazing. I just remembered how The Long Dark started.. and look where you are now. It's been an incredible journey so far and more is still to come. Thank you for keeping up the great work and I want to apologize for all the other customers who let their frustration out on you. Take your time with the game, we will be patient.. and that way The Long Dark can become one of the best games on Steam by far. It's already very good, but you know what I mean. :>

Thanks for giving us the ability to layer clothes! :) I really wish other developers would incorporate this mechanic into their games too, as it adds extra strategy to our gameplay amongst other things.

I appreciate that the update videos actually explain the changes. Some games these days simply release trailers and leave players to figure out the details themselves (not preferable).

Looking back 3ish years in the future, I think this was a great update that really "brought forward" the long dark. Now I can't imagine just equipping clothes via the inventory, and all of the clothing items add huge variety to the game.

Been playin this game on steam since the beta first came out and I still love this game. I now play on Xbox one too and I love the direction that you guys at hinterland are going. Keep up the good work! (And I saw that teaser at the end too ;))

The is one of the only games that I bought in "early access" and wow I got lucky. You guys really put the time in to work on this game and update us with the progress. I just played again last night after about 6 months of not touching it and it's like a brand new game. Keep up the good work!

Downloading the update right now! I'm so ready! I was playing last night and I was just thinking about how it's crazy I can't layer some of the clothing and that I don't get frostbite lol It's like you read my mind, but I know lots of people have mentioned this and I'm so glad you guys are listening to the fans. I can't wait for story mode and I know you guys are working your hardest to to make the best game possible (although in my opinion sandbox already makes it one of my favorite games of all time)

I bought this game during the winter sale and had no idea FM was a new and difficult map. I figured since it was attached to Mystery Lake, which I found very easy, that FM would be easy too and the further out I went the harder maps would be. Did I ever get my ass kicked out there haha. Huddling in a snow shelter for the night, barely above freezing, getting lost trying to get back to ML, attacked by a bear, somehow surviving by finding a random snow shelter in a blizzard, getting up to 50% health and feeling good, then falling through the ice that I didn't know could break. Climbing out dizzy below 10% health, make an improvised fire to stay alive. Starving. No food. My only way to live is to take the rifle I found near a dead body and kill a wolf while dizzy. Wolf charges me. I miss. The Long Dark. I love this game !

Bought this game on a whim way back when first on preview program. I usually hate survival games but this one intrigued me and still does. I'm by no means awesome at it, but it is a great game and was totally worth my time and money so far.

I...well it's not quite what I wanted (story mode), but I can make due with such an advanced overhaul and addition. I think the new affliction along with the clothing system is going to really require some strategy, especially in that hellzone of interloper. Also, I can't wait to explore the new region. I really wasn't expecting a new region in this update, but it's got my adventurous soul aflame again. I hope you've made it harder than timberwolf, because I'm in the mood for a challenge (that isn't interloper).

I got an idea If an item is half consumed (opened) it will slowly start to rot and you can get food poisoning if it goes super bad the way to prevent it is to cut the rot (hand

This game is brutal, almost died so many times, I constantly end up getting 3 whiteout days for every clear day, decisions, decisions! Paradise Valley? I don't think so. Time to move to another area I hate leaving my stuff behind, Much Thanks to Hinterland, Homerun.

I think it be really cool if they added medical skills and work benching skills too!! i also wish when you make clothing from skins you should get mending skills and when you make a bow you should get archery skills..but this game is SOOO AMAZING thank you hinterland.
