This is the 2nd video I've watched on FODMAP and I've already learned several things. So...good job on the video! Right now I'm going to document what I ate today. I started the antibiotics yesterday and attempted the diet, but I blew it. So today was a new day. So far I've stuck to it, but not knowing much about stacking, I may have blown it when I ate 6 grapes. We'll see. I ordered my FODMAP free list so I hope to do better tomorrow. Thank you for sharing this information. My gastroenterologist ordered a dietician for me, but I don't know when they will contact me so having some outside online help is wonderful. I'm thinking about taking the Monash course too.
Thank you so much! I had my first diverticulitis attack last week and cannot get to a gastro doc for 6 weeks. Don't ever want to go through that again!
GI docs think I have IBS. I am 3 weeks into a low fodmap diet per a dietician and have had major headaches, weakness in my body, and majorly fatigued. Funny they tell you to go on the diet, but don't tell you that you might get all of these other symptoms. It is really difficult even with these fodmap websites like monash. I am trying to hang in there, though.
The only thing I didn’t catch in the video, was the amount of time to eliminate and reintroduce? Any recommendations. Thanks much for the information, well executed and concise.
