Regan era born millennial homeschooling /stay at home mom here & I was Raised in an “ in tact” home vs a broken one, but still, the INFLUENCE of the 1960’s & 1970’s feminist movement managed to metasticize ALL of the generation of woman that Raised me. The passive aggressive but contradictory message of “ one day if /when you get married” mindset but also don’t think about dating for the purpose of marriage … instead focus on your education to get your career so you don’t have to RELY on any man 🫣👀😳 So which is it LADIES of my family?? Marriage either IS MEANINGFUL OR Men ARE not to be trusted & UNREALIABLE ??? Confusing message so when I came of age I had to DECIDE HOW I was going to think & VIEW the relationship design GOD had blueprinted. Going on 15 years now come September 🎉❤ & such desire of love for my hubby instead of duty /obligation that was modeled out before my eyes growing up

Well in your culture you are expected to work and suffer taking care of everybody including your own men. Im a 33 year old father of 4, I'm not a Christian (i am Norse Pagan) however what i believe about women is probably very similar, but the mother is always what keeps the glue on the world and nurtures the health of all and keeps the house a HOME at the end of the day. As a father its my job to protect and provide and take the weight of the world so my wife can focus on the kids and the house. She grounds me when the river of life is overly rough and wants to sweep me away. The love and care she provides for our children and i makes my fight against the world and my family all the much easier and focused. I could not do what i do without her. Someday you will find a man who loves and cherishes you and together you will conquer life. Just provide the balance for him and the love and respect for him and the children and he will stand alone against the world for you. Women in Norse culture had IMMENSE value so i encourage you to never disregard your worth. Never let it get to your head but make sure you never devalue yourself. May Oðínn provide the wisdom on your path and may Tyr show you the courage.

@@jessica-jr1uc The problem is that women with "career" confuse that with "Purpose" and those are not usually the same because most women do not take the time to go inward and learn who they are or what their purpose is. Not every woman has the purpose of being a mother only, many have talents and skills that are also meant to be used for the benefit of everyone in their community, state, country, world, etc. . I think that's the whole reason women were originally fighting, to have options and choices - but lost sight of what was important. We need to get over this "either / or" dynamic. Women shouldn't just be relegated to being a mom or being in their purpose. They can do both in a more loving way.

Hey, we all make mistakes. I’m remarried now for 10 years and I’m very much in love with him, but I was married once to somebody and even though he physically abused me and put me in the hospital a couple of times I can still honestly say that I made mistakes and that relationship too. It wasn’t just him.

Well, I wouldn't lie to you. It just so happened yesterday, the same man, but he was with a woman this time whom I believe was his wife was in the Laundromat. He started an argument with her in Spanish and she argued back. They got louder and louder and as he was talking over everything she said. Then he started throwing things around. This is not a joke! It really happened right there in the middle of the laundromat!! I have never seen such a thing! You would think 2 grown adults could contain themselves until they got home.

As a man, I hold doors open for other men and other men have held doors for me. I think that's just being good and decent to other people. It would be rude if I just let a door slam in the face of a man or anyone walking behind me. I think if its at all possible, we need to be kind to our fellow human beings. Especially today when its a yime that far too many people seem to enjoy being nasty to others. I fight against that carrying on as best I can.

As a Canadian, we just always hold the door open for whomever.

I've been through the same thing and through my late teens and early 20s was terrified that I'd turn out the same way, cried over it, couldn't bear the thought that I as a person with my own mind could go down similar paths from what I witnessed. Logically I hated it, but further down I could feel it. Took me a lot more years of knowing people to know it's something I would never do. The fact you're thinking about it clearly, and that you've counted your blessings shows me you have nothing to worry about. The world will love you if you struggle through adversity and still smile at the world with open arms. I don't need to have faith, I know you're gonna be alright.

Marrying and having children does not make you any less of a treasure than you already are as a woman who embraces her womanhood.

Hang in there … too many moms are dropping their babies off at daycare, while you are forming a bond of love. Don’t feel guilty raising kids who are an asset to society. Have as much fun w/ them as u can, teaching them that even chores can be fun Don’t stress the little things, & things that don’t matter. Enjoy each other 🥰

The career or motherhood never was a thing until few hundred years ago. Alot of women were Queens and mothers, were scientists and mothers, just like a father was. The problem is the weak men who leave women when they have children. My mother was a stay at home mom and some still didn't want to have any relationship when we grew up and some girls I grew up with their mothers worked and they married at 18 or 20 and have healthy relationships with their mothers. Women being hyper focused on their children's lives when those children are teens or young adults is the result of mothers whose world rotates around the children's lives and I hated seeing that from my mom. At some point in life those kids will leave and it's that constant need they got that shakled us children to them even as adults. I hope you do realize that and find something you love to do when your children get to school. Nothing is wrong with that either.

A lot of people on the internet are extremely cruel and hateful, especially to people like Dewayne who speak directly from the heart; they hate that because they have no heart or wisdom to speak from themselves. They are misguided and lost, and we should pity them. I understand that you might think his teachings are 'out of anger' but I can assure you that the reality is the opposite. This entire video is overflowing with righteous anger purely out of love for the women in his life, and that's something our society desperately needs. If you learn anything from this video, it should be that.

I believe in telling you what not to do, you are being told, what to do. Kind of like a parent or a Grand Pa, sometimes they reprimand you.

One of the things your generation may learn is that feelings are nuanced and there is a time and place for all of them. Anger is not always bad or unloving.
