If Niffins are stronger than gods and gods are just titan level magicians can a god turn into a Niffin? If so can the same happen to an old god and would a Niffin be able to kill one?
The Magicians Love I guess what I mean is that god basically hold all of the magical potential a human can hold while still being human as they were compared to that of a nuclear power plant ( or at least Julia) was and I don’t think only humans can become niffins because something becomes a Niffin when it tries to casts a spell that requires more energy than they can muster BUT I think the only way a god can go Niffin mode is if they horcrothed there power into something bigger than they should be able to (like Julia and the keys) do yeah ....... but if gods can’t become niffins then shouldn’t other magical creatures be able to since niffins in the books were did not have bodies the were just there so let’s say if a magical creature tried to horcrotch some keys the would definitely niffin out or blow up
Makaveli Yoshi magicians don’t have magic. They pull from sources like the springwell etc to cast spells. When a magician casts a spell that is too powerful and they can’t contain/ control the magic, it fires back at them. A god is not a magician. A god, like other magical creatures don’t pull from sources, their body generates magic. They are magic, as is shown with the fairies. They don’t have to really cast. Same way gods generally don’t have to cast. Their magic is an intricate part of them, an extension of their will, so, they only have to think about something and it happens. So, no, they can’t niffin out because the magic they use is already within them and there’re very few spells that a god could need external sources to cast as they already have “nuclear level power” within themselves. And if they use up all their magic, then they experience a burn out and become almost human again while their body heals and replenishes itself (if that makes sense). It could take years for them to get to their full magical strength again, but that’s essentially what it is. So, it’s not likely gods can because niffins.
Not necessarily. Gods are gods. Once they've reached that level of power, I'm pretty sure they have no limit to it. Don't even think about old gods. They're practically invincible. It's a possibility that Iris and the others could become niffins, but only if they were stripped of their god-like power, which wouldn't make them gods anymore (just magicians). Also, I think niffins are much less powerful than any type of god
This whole season has shown the gods in a pretty bad light and when Julia was a goddess she was afraid of being detached from her friends and her mortal life. I think that’s why Penny thought it was better for her to be human
