I once had a snapping turtle. I saved it from the heat outside, for some reason it was on my sidewalk about 100 feet away from the river beside me. I saved it and got it an aquarium. After two years of caring for it I made the decision to let it free. And I still miss him today.

@@the_canadian_goose6033not everyone lives under the same laws, it varies from country to country and state to state. some u.s. states would actually allow you to keep snapping turtles as pets from the wild but it’s generally strict. it’s best to talk to a lawyer about stuff like this, and i am not a lawyer so take what i said with a grain of salt.

You don't just randomly see full grown sharks on land and hope that a tide is gonna bring it back in. I understand where you're coming from, but this feel more like a half accurate description or trying to demeanor of this man trying to do a nice action.

All depends on the shark and what your willing to put into it. There is some incredible aquariums out there that the fish absolutely thrive in. It is a great hobby to have when done right. But extremely expensive.

to me that looks like a beautiful wobbegong shark they usually live on the bottom of the sea as a natural defence mechanism because the colour of their back can blend in with the sea bed and coral on the ocean floor!
