The weirdest death i ever heard of was told by my mom. She was an ER nurse for 20 years. A guy came home drunk AF after a night at the bar. The wife wasn't happy and a fight happen. She didn't let him come inside for some reason and locked the door. The guy then tried to get in the house by the basement bathroom window (you know, those small half window) and fell face first in the toilet. His foot got stuck in the window and he died like that, upside down, face in the toilet and drowned . The wife discovered him in the morning.
@@skyvader1238 From what I understood, he did a 4 feet drop face first on hard toilet ceramic. That alone is maybe enough to die from the hit. Being highly intoxicated probably didn't help.
I worked in a psych hospital for 6 years and often had to restrain patients in crisis. People who haven’t worked in such a line of work have no idea how hard it is to hold someone in a psychotic episode. We often had between 6-12 very large men struggling to hold much smaller patients down for medication. I’ve seen patients break their own bones struggling to break free with no Awareness or showing of pain . Combine this with being slippery from blood, sweat or any other fluid and I can more than understand why they couldn’t restrain him. Also, they were probably worried about what diseases or issues he may have and not wanted to have been exposed to it
Just goes to show people really underestimate what the human body and mind is capable of. Ive lifted 1500lb pallets. Pushed suvs up an incline by myself, been ran over by cars, head on collision going 50 mph, lit on fire, you name it, and im by no means a large guy. It has taken its toll on me now specially since I've lost the will to live, I can't heal like I used to, and so my body is very rapidly declining now.
We had a guy who cut off his own arm with a miter saw and calmly picked it up and walked down the road. Another woman stopped taking her meds because she was pregnant. One night candle wax dripped onto her lower leg all night and she had no awareness of it. She came in with 3rd degree burns all down her leg to the point of possible amputation and had to be restrained for her and the child’s safety, it took 4 cops to bring her in because of how hard she was fighting. Any normal person would have been in indescribable pain and she had no idea something had even happened. We had someone so high on pcp he kicked through a PLATE window with wire mesh and cut himself so deep he was spewing blood. He only stopped fighting when he literally passed out from blood loss.
Hold up, so basically the government gets $750,000 from the movie theater because of this mans death but the family that lost their loved one that was a husband, father and son, they only get $130,000. There is definitely something wrong here. That 3/4 of a million pound fine should go to the man's family, nowhere else.
Yeah, odd how something like that isn't even questioned. You'd think one of the journalists covering the story for the copious news articles that reported the event and the resulting fines imposed would question how and why the victim's family was given so little in comparison and what exactly did the Gov do to profit from such a tragedy. But it's just glossed over. How bizarre.
In the theater story, I love that the theater chain was fined 750,000 pounds, but the victim's family received only 130,000 pounds. Isn't government wonderful?
The moment you said this lady was planning to bathe in alcohol, I already knew where that was heading. Misinforming the public like that is just disgusting. I doubt her friends really knew, or at least I hope they didn’t know.
Please inform the American corporate media that misinforming the public is not ethical. They've been doing it in earnest for at least the past few years and to my initial horror, people believe what they say. Even in the face of overwhelming contrary evidence, people still believe what they hear on MSNBC and other propaganda outlets like that. Damn.
@@JadieJamz Hardcore hypochondriac. Basically germaphonia. Phobias, by clinical definition, are irrational, but also nearly uncontrollable. This is why you have to be careful not to even misinform the public in even obviously false ways. A genuine, clinical phobia can overwhelm the most basic common sense in an otherwise intelligent individual.
The most bizarre death-sequence I’ve still ever heard was the twins in the UK who were riding bikes. MrBAllen covered this a lot better, but one twin died on a bike ride on a road by not looking to see if a truck was coming down a side street and then he was hit and killed by that truck and then a few hours later his twin went for a bike ride on the same street a few miles down the road and he neglected to look down a side road where there was a stop sign for oncoming traffic and he was also struck and killed by a truck who failed to stop. Both twins, same street, same circumstance, two trucks who ran stop signs and ran over bikes. Coincidences like that shouldn’t happen
I read about this in an old Ripley's Believe It Or Not book from 2004. I think it said they were on mopeds and, because as a little kid, it had me wondering what the hell a "moped" was.
@That generic"Dixienormous"picture guy. I haven’t heard that to be a thing, but if it is then good lord this story should be in the hall of fame of how in the what? Lol
This isn’t really a bizarre death, but the story of how she died and after her death is quite bizarre. Olga Chardymova died at the age of 10 after she begged to walk to her grandma’s apartment, the last words she ever spoke to her parents was “I’m ten already. I can go myself,” immediately after shutting the door, a drug addict whacked her head with a metal bar when she tried to escape, the only thing this guy actually got was her earrings which if you’re gonna steal to get drugs, maybe you should trying robbing and killing someone who’s not a child ?? Idk it seems reasonable. Her remains were undiscovered for 5 months until they were found wedged between two pipes in the attic of the apartment building. Olga was buried in a cemetery in Nizhiny Novgorod on October 2, 2002. Her parents (Natalia and Igor) built a metal fence around her grave and began painting it in may of 2003 but the following day, they noticed someone had moved the wreath they put on Olga’s grave and sensed someone had been there. Shortly after, they began finding notes on their daughter’s grave, addressing her as “Little Lady” and congratulating her on special events as if she were still *alive* . According to Olga’s parents, the anonymous person left notes on every holiday including the first day of school in September and the last day of school in May, which would read similar to “happy last month of your 6th year at school”. Each disturbing letter was signed by “D.A” meaning “dorby angel” (kind angel). Each of these letters were signed by Anatoly Moskvin, a very, very disturbing individual who would take the bodies of deceased young girls, mummify them, dress them in “cute clothing” (such also knee stockings, skirts, etc) and leave them in his home. He didn’t kill the girls himself but he still did shit to a corpse and took corpses outside of their resting place. As time passed by Olga’s parents kept seeing the grave being decorated and would often discover stuffed animals and other soft toys stolen from other graves. Later on, Olga’s parents got a new gravestone for Olga and Anatoly responded by writing a threatening message that said “If you don’t erect a great monument which she deserves, we will dig her body out.” Now just imagine getting a letter after getting a new gravestone for your deceased child - I’d be fucking horrified. Anatoly later destroyed that gravestone with an axe. The Nizhny Novgorod police were appalled when informed by the grieving parents of what they had been subjected to by the anonymous psychopath. Unfortunately, there was nothing they could do at the time to track down the person but told them, “If you find him, do what you want to this barbarian, we wont object.” Natalia later stated, “If I’d met him at Olga’s grave, Id have killed him with my own hands.”. Notes and toys continued to be left on Olga’s grave and often, a metal cross on the site was found bent. After complaints of similar occurences at the graves of many other young girls in Ninzhny Novgorod, the police decided to open Olga’s grave on October 5, 2012, nearly ten years to the day since she had been buried. Olga’s parents and police found a hole in her coffin through which the girl’s remains had been removed. Investigators later discovered through Anatoly’s notes that Olga Chardymova’s body had in fact been removed in May 2003 when her parents originally suspected an unwanted visitor had been at their child’s gravesite. “You can’t imagine it”, Natalia explained,”That somebody would touch the grave of your child, the most holy place in this world for you. We had been visiting the grave of our child for nine years and we had no idea it was empty. Instead, she was in this beast’s apartment.”. During his hearing, Anatony accusingly told the parents of the young girls he had mummified and kept in his apartment, “You abandoned your girls in the cold- and I brought them home and warmed them up.”. After three years in a psychiatric hospital, Anatony Moskvin was determined to be not mentally well enough to stand trial. He was diagnosed with schizophrenia and while he is lucid most of the time, he becomes obsessive when talking about “his girls”. He had tried to adopt a girl of his own but was refused because he is unmarried. When asked why he exhumed and mummified the bodies of young girls he stated, “I am waiting for science to find a way for these girls to live again… I wanted to be an expert in making mummies… I wanted to communicate with these girls.” and explained how he chose which girls to take home, “I lay on the grave and tried to get in touch with her. I listened to what she said. Often they asked me to take them out for a walk.”. Anatoly’s crimes were in no way sexually motivated and police claim, “He loathes sex and thought it was disgusting.”. Anatoly was raped as a child and claims his interest in necrology began when he was forced to kiss the face of an 11-year-old girl at her funeral. Psychiatrists believe there is little chance Anatoly will ever be rehabilitated and released from the psychiatric institute where he will remain for the foreseeable future. The stress of Olga’s death and the disturbance of her remains caused Natalia and Igor Chardymova to separate for fourteen months. Natalia explained the reason for their separation, “I just could not live in the block where my daughter was murdered. And Igor did not want to sell the flat, he would go into Olga’s room and stare at her things. Finally, I left and went to live with my mother.”. The couple now have a son, Alexei, who they say has restored their faith in life. The couple moved to a new home, but still have a daily reminder of their daughter’s unfortunate end and the torment they suffered for nine years; From the kitchen window, the couple can see the psychiatric institute where Anatoly Moskvin still resides. Natalia and Igor fear he will one day convince his doctors he is cured and will be released. My source is this: thepostmortempost.wordpress.com/tag/olga-chardymova/#18680406
Dude I've heard that first story, and it's horrifying that if Daniel had his meds he may not have had such a horrific end. Thanks for sharing these stories. I always view them as a tribute to the fallen, and a chance for thier story to be told, rather than forgotten or just used for morbid curiosity.
Honestly my first thought was possibly a psychosis related issue, either something like schizophrenia or drug induced. Because the behavior that was described is just... so bizarre to me.
It's stated he had a meds for a health condition for the last couple of days of the trip. That doesn't sound like something serious. More like something he got during the trip. Something minor. The meds very likely weren't related to this accident. This guy was just insane. Literally
@@requiemagent3014 wait, how can you determine if the meds for a trip isn't serious? Medicines are used for many, many, many different conditions and these medicines despite being helpful can also have really bad side effects. Some of them being psychosis. "Psychiatric side effects (PSEs) can be Induced by the pharmacological treatment of physical Illnesses. The clinical presentation of PSEs often resembles spontaneous psychiatric syndromes (ie, noniatrogenic, naturally occurring diseases). PSEs can occur at usual doses, in cases of intoxication, or during the days following withdrawal of a given treatment. PSEs range from short-lasting anxiety to severe confusion, and alleged cases of suicide have even been reported." ^ this here is exactly why I believe he suffered from psychosis after he missed a couple days of medicine. Because there has to be an explanation of why he went "insane" and this is the closest we can get to it.
@@jellypeaches26 It's kinda funny how you literally made this up in your mind and are so convinced about it. It's stated NOWHERE he had a pre existing medical condition anywhere. During this trip he probably got an STD or something and this was the medicine we are talking about. That is a way more plausible explanation. So because he didn't take his Chlamydia pills he jumped into an airplane? Man the little dream world some of you guys live in. If he had some serious mental condition the police would have told the public. Why are you so concerned about this freak anyway? I feel a lot worse for the people this dangerous psycho almost killed during his rampage. But fuck them amirite
Joshua Maddux was murdered. We absolutely do know. It would have been impossible for him to end up in those circumstances on his own. He didn't go in from the top, as there was a metal grate over the chimney to keep out animals, which was still intact upon his discovery. And he didn't go in from the bottom, as it would have been impossible for him to move the furniture to block the fireplace after he'd crawled up into the chimney. Someone else, at the very least, blocked the bottom exit with that breakfast bar, and may have replaced the grate over the chimney (assuming he was forced in that way). His death was never thoroughly investigated, despite the fact that a local man as much as confessed to Josh's murder, saying he'd stuffed him down a hole, long before his body was discovered in that chimney. That there has been no justice for him is an absolute travesty.
he was absolutely murdered. i'll never forget this reddit post from a person who lived in the same town as joshua and said there was this guy joshua was "friends" with who absolutely fit the bill for killing him. whether or not it was that guy, there is no doubt that joshua maddux was assaulted and killed. i can't believe the police really didn't peg this as a homicide
@@Thebrokenheart2023 Still would have required a second person to either push the breakfast bar against the fireplace or replace the grate on top of the chimney. It would have been physically impossible for him to have done it alone.
Maybe the coroner or someone from the police was protecting someone. Themselves or someone close to them.with a very sick mindset. You can't just close a case like this.
Why was he naked with his clothes in a neat pile in the cabin ?? ....il be honest this sounds like he was the victim of a S A. Before he was murdered...just my opinion I could be completely wrong
Someone on Reddit said they found new evidence Josh was at the cabin on the same day he disappeared and he wasn't alone. Sadly when he posted the photos the mods removed them. Apparently there were at least 3 people at the cabin the time this happened, obviously they stuffed him up the chimney and it would probably take more than 1 person to move the breakfast bar, hopefully someone will bring the new evidence to light
The Joshua Maddux case is extremely bizarre and unsettling. Way too many things have come out to just regard it as “accidental”. I’m sorry but if this would have been one of those cases where a beautiful teenage girl went missing and was found in only a thermal shirt, naked from the waist down, stuffed in chimney with no real explanation as to how she could have or would have done that, the police would be looking into sexual assault and murder. These things happen to young men as well unfortunately. The double standards are just appalling. He deserves justice.
Men often get victimized as much as women but due to a great amount of sexism and double standards it gets under reported and ignored. I'm not going to change my mind about it.
I doubt they would've gotten any clues from Joshua's extremely decomposed body. All biological red flags would've probably decomposed with him. This is essentially, and unfortunately, the perfect crime.
joshua definitely got stuffed in the chimney. maybe he even got raped i dunno. but he got stuffed in there by a person. and then the exit was blocked in case he got out
The truly unlucky story of Peter Robinson hit me. I have scoliosis, live with my mother, and feed cats often outside. I can't begin to imagine how his mother must have felt. Truly a tragedy.
@@bluesira I know, I have no idea what made me say that. It's just so absurd to think someone would purposely drown themselves in a water bowl. The circumstances of being knocked out and fall directly into it are just bizarre.
The last case is interesting. Seems to me that he may have gone to the cabin to meet someone and was then murdered and stuffed in the chimney to hide the body. This would be bizarre for sure, but more plausible than the official story.
DEFINITELY! His shoes were inside AND something heavy was put over the fireplaces instrance. And the door was still locked. Someone murdered him 100%a!!!
I’ve heard of this story before online. There was someone who lived in the area that later moved away and bragged about killing him. Kid was murdered for sure.
There was definitely a different version of the Maddox story back in the day, that he was coming down the chimney in the usual way, back braced against one side and feet planted on the opposite side. If anything goes wrong and you slip, you will end up exactly like he did and be unable to reorient yourself. In areas with cabins that's a way of access for kids to party or steal things. No idea why he was there but if he removed his clothes you'd think sex would be involved; and if you got locked out, you'd want to get back in to get your belongings. Very interesting and well-presented cases!
dude on mushrooms, took off his clothes went to chimney and went down head first, and the thing blocking the fireplace was obviously there from the owners to block animals from coming in
There was a kid in my hometown that was hit by a truck, and that caused some physical and learning disabilities and as a result, he won a lawsuit in which he would get around a million dollars on his 18th birthday. Many of us took the railway tracks around town to get to places more quickly, myself included. Apparently, On his 18th birthday, he was walking along the railway tracks on his way to meet his mother at the lawyer's office. He was wearing headphones and listening to music on the walk, and as a result he didn't hear the train coming towards him from behind. He was hit and instantly killed on his way to get his money.
I’m so impressed that you crank out tragedies I’ve never heard of- and I listen to this stuff all the time. This channel is my replacement for Mr. Ballen, since he turned mediocre.
There's a story from my town of Fountain, Colorado (just south of the Springs) similar to Josh's. I think it was 2011/12, and I don't remember all the details. But a teen's body was found inside of the air vents at an elementary school near me. There were theories that he had gone in there to get away from the cold at night. But from what I remember, the family believed there was foul play at hand and he had been forced in there. They found him when there was an odor coming from the vents. Really sad and also I can't imagine being stuck like that and slowly dying. Josh's case definitely sounds like foul play with the other clues.
Here's a fun fact about ethanol: Ethanol is a non-polar solvent so it is able to dissolve non-polar substances such as lipids. This means that if you place a cell in ethanol, its membrane will become permeable and allow substances to leak into and out of the cell. As the ethanol concentration increases, membrane permeability will increase. If the ethanol concentration is high enough, enough phospholipids will dissolve to cause the plasma membrane to disintegrate completely which will kill the cell.
7:28 whats alarming is that the information presented in a manner that indicates her family members knowing she took that ethanol bath. If that's truly the case this would mean that not only was that woman stupid but so was her family members.
He didnt know it was tight. And its a kid. I used to dig a massive deep hole in the ground and if that fell on me, well i wouldnt be writing this comment would i? Kids arent that smart.
His clothes were found folded up INSIDE the cabin and he was head first down the chimney with zero evidence of drugs in his system. The investigators should have done better. So sad.
17:25 there's more to that case. Another guy was seen with him and was known to be a bully. He was questioned a while after the disappearance, and eventually stopped talking. So he wasn't properly questioned, plus their was some connection, to a politician or a cop or someone high up that had influence. An independent investigator had strong suspicions that there had been a cover-up, and the death had been a murder. There were too many mitigating factors to just call that an accidental death.
So the cinema got fined for 750,000£, which the government got due to missing safety measures and the widow got 130,000£ for suffering the lifelong consequences of said missing safety measures. Am I the only one who thinks that this is completely fucked up on top of everything else?
I bet you could do a whole series on people who died trying to treat themselves for the coof with bizarre self medicating. The award this time though goes to the swan dive into a giant jet engine. That's got to be an insane way to go out, but even more dramatic for those who witnessed it. I would probably still have nightmares.
I had a go at some self surgery after I had a backwards fall onro my left pinky after a bong after a multi day meth sesh, had to have it amputated lol.
Firm believer of medication right here! Hearing stories like Daniel's make me feel so much better about having always believed in this. Geez. Been in so many arguments about this! 🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉
The chimney cabin case definitely convinced me there is foul play all over it. There is NO way that was a accidental death there is way way way too many details that point to another person who played a role in this case.
cabin fireplace was blocked to keep out animals(alex included), he was on mushrooms or another drug so he got naked and climbed headfirst down the chimney. could explain why he went off to an abandoned cabin as well without telling parents
I think the stories about Daniel at the beginning and Joshua at the end have a lot of common elements to the effects of hypothermia. Daniel may have suffered it while out swimming at night and Joshua possibly while lost in the woods. This could explain their sudden and completely nonsensical behavior especially the removal of clothes
So the last sorry, with Josh being in the chimney...what’s truly creepy is- another little boy went missing just a few houses away from where he lived, INSIDE a chimney as well- in almost exactly the same manner as Josh; naked, fetal Position, clothes inside folded. I mean, what are the chances? That little boy was only 14 tho, and he had just gone on a walk too. Idk about those 2 stories- something is weird about them. 🤔
That story was not a murder. The boy wanted to stay away from school and home, as he had family problems. He went into the abandoned house often via the chimbey, but the last time he got stuck and died.
@@jamiebraswell5520 Wait, I know what kid you're talking about! It was a kid with a RU-vid channel named Harley. I saw his story covered by Nick Crowley.
There was a rabbit hunter in the UK who tied his dog up to a tree while he poked his head down a rabbit hole and got his head stuck (and perhaps one or both of his shoulders) and succumbed to asphyxiation. If not for a woman, taking a walk the following day who came across his body (his torso, legs & one arm poking out from between his legs visible) the dog might have also suffered a terrible fate, being tied to a tree w/no escape.
The last story reminds me of a case from 2020 where a teenage boy was found dead in a chimney of an unoccupied summer house close to his own home. In that case though it was almost certainly an accident, as investigations concluded that he was able to get on the roof via an antenna tower and went into the chimney and got stuck. He was probably trying to skip school by hanging out in the house. I live not far from where it happened and everyone was talking about it. He had been missing for around a month before he was found.
Oh I know that story . He was found with no pants on . The pants were inside the cabin, but he was found in the chimney and the chimney was barricaded from the inside ... and that's not all.
Is this about that little kid called like Luke or something? there’s a story on this one kid that had autism and adhd and he fled home because of his abusive household- and he tried to get into a house through the chimney for warmth and got stuck
Someone else was definitely involved in the death of the guy in the chimney. The police know that it will be a hard case to solve, so that's why they're sticking to the accidental death theory.
The first story sounds like he was on drugs. It said it was a "medication" he'd only been taking for a few days since being on vacation. Maybe he had been taking something for the last few days but suddenly ran out of it. This was the 90s, I could definitely see them covering that up to avoid the news affecting the travel industry, and foreign relations.
Ooohh i have a story! Ok so my dad told me that he and his cousin used to work at making plane motors or something like that. Recently this Russian guy had been hired to check the engines daily or something similar. So this one day they are almost finished and the guy decides to go inside one of the engines without telling anyone and check if everything is ok in there. Then some other man decides to turn on the very same engine the man is in to check if it works. Obviously he also got blended alive and my dad and his cousin had to clean up what was left over of him. (5 likes for another story?)
Hmmm…. It takes a while for a large jet engine to spool up, he’d have had plenty of time to jump out? The fuel pumps starting up would have given him a big heads up too.
The ethanol bath and the movie chair are the most horrifying like first ,why would anyone think it's a good idea to bath in alcohol and It must have felt horrifying when you suddenly feel the alcohol kicking in and not realizing that it's probably too late. And who could think a cinema chair could kill you ,like what sort of mechanism has such a force ,were the chair pneumaticaly operated or something? And why would there be so much space for a whole man to fit under it
@@RaeC5280 Maybe she was home alone,or they had two bathrooms in the house so they didn't realize she is still there. But the fact that no one questioned it ,Is quite strange . As for her ,she might have been too intoxicated to get out
The reason the chair had so much force was because it was faulty due to a wrong and much more powerful actuator being installed in some of the chairs. This caused the foot rest to be pulled down rather than allowing mostly gravity to do the work. At least that's what I understood from reading the accident report
There's no way Daniel could've done that from lack of meds. Nobody could possibly scale two ten foot barbed wire fences then get injured from getting the top of that car sheared off and just hop out like nothing happened then just run full speed into the plane like that. Daniel must've taken speed steroids or something of that sort earlier that night.
I'd heard of lots of people doing into psychosis due to lack of meds/quitting cold turkey which has bad side effects(like psychosis from certain ones. I have also heard of horror stories from people working in psych wards and hospitals needing 5 people to hold down a patient who undergoes psychosis. Literally breaking their bones to try to get free, it's insane. I think it's very much a possibility for him.
Just an idea on the last story with Josh in the chimney. I think the theory that somebody could have abducted him and he managed to attempt an escape by going up the fireplace to get away from his abductor or abductors. Seeing that they were unable to get to him may have blocked the fireplace so he could not get out. Definitely should be more investigation. My heart goes out to his family as well as all the others.
Coming from someone who went to work on a random July day, attempted to go to the restroom in a Big Lots, and woke up four days later intubated only to found that I’d had a 20+ minute seizure and cardiac arrest, it really is how you dye aka your last memories of death. Thankfully I didn’t stay dead that day but blacking out after thinking “oh shit!” Is far far better than how these ppl went.
I know that feeling. Was sick for few days before passing out. Was eating some soupe before throwing up and falling on ground. Woke up in hospital i dont remember how long after (it was like 2,5 months i was there). But at least i know that death is painless now.

@@TragedyTales I wouldn't mind hearing some of those hacking stories either. Daniel sounds like he either dosed on bath salts, or somehow was dosed with scopolamine powder and was then told to skinny dip in the nearest jet engine. What would that fire extinguisher stuff do to you? How did he have such strength to break free from the guards? Interesting.
Yes. I couldn't remember the name "bath salts" but that's the first thing I thought of as I've heard some horror stories of what people are capable of doing after consuming the drug. They'd have probably required a tranquillizer gun in order to stop him from doing something he hadn't a clue was endangering his life.
@@daisy671 Thank you for the heads up! What's weird is someone watching a video about a man who throws himself into a jet engine getting butthurt when people question what would provoke a man to throw himself into a jet engine?!🙄
I have heard the first story before, I think it was on a channel going by the title off “Mr Ballen”, an Veteran United States 🇺🇸 Navy SeAL. His recounting of the events (if it was on his channel) stated that the medication that Daniel needed was not available in any off the islands pharmacies, he had run out of the supply he had with him on the holiday and had tried, in vain, to obtain more, and that ultimately led to his mental health breakdown and subsequent actions. A salutary tale about ensuring that you take a sufficient supply of medication with you and extra to cover any delays returning home, or at least ensuring that the place you are Holidaying at has the medication you might require, most G.Ps are happy to give you a prescription for your medication for the time period of your travels and some to cover emergencies like delays or hospitalisation, but don’t forget to check if your medication is legal to take into the country you are travelling to, otherwise it could be costly.
@@barneyronnie Paranoid schizophrenia could make absolutely anything imaginable happen. Outpatient schizophrenics often complain that the meds make them too sedated, so they stop taking the them and all hell breaks loose in no time. Running out in a foreign country or wilderness area can have very similar consequences. There must be some way to surgically implant medication for dangerous conditions like this, but few would be compliant.

I worked taking care of old people that had committed crimes in their youth and they were also mentally ill. I remember reading a guys chart that picked up a guard and threw him in the huge boiler that heated the institution. This happened in the 50's I believe. What a horrible way to go. Ouch😲
Like these videos of how people passed away from unusual ways. It reminds me of the lady up in her attic fell through the floor landed in a space between the walls and no one found her for many years until the new house owners started to remodel the home. That's definitely morbid.
My Trinidadian sister and I were shocked at the first story as we’d never heard of it, ran to our elderly parents (70 & 80) who remembered when it happened!! This is wild!!!
I have a friend who's father was a nurse told us a story of a gentlemen who had to have brain surgery or something that required the surgeons to open the top of his skull I can't remember exactly what the procedure was this was like 20 years ago, the surgery went well and on the day he was supposed to go home he made the mistake of bending down to pick something up from the floor that he had dropped which of course is a natural response but one of the many restrictions the doctors had given him. As he bent over the force of the blood rushing into his head had caused the top of his head to basically blow off killing him instantly in front of the family members or friends that were there to bring him home.
Several of these made my heart sink. But the lady that bathed in Alcohol?! Alcohol?! That made me stiffen from shock just like the movie theater accident. That's horrible!
... It happens all the time. Most companies just plead guilty to avoid going to court where they can lose even more money. So they settle. An example. A restaurant I live near is literally known for throwing hot soft freshly cooked dinner rolls. It's literally in their name, "Home of the throwed rolls". That didn't stop someone from sueing them for throwing a roll when she asked for a roll. She thought they would just bring it to her, not throw it. Hit her in the eye and she sued. Claiming they had failed to "warn" her that they throw the rolls and she is now blind. She also claimed that she got a head and neck injury. They settled out of court, pleading guilty. Even though the fact they throw the rolls is literally in their name and you literally walk in, seeing rolls being throwed. But if the company had gone to court, they could have lost a lot more money if they lost the battle. She sued for $35,000. That amount of money is nothing compared to what it could have been if taken to court. I should also add. Going there myself a lot. They don't throw them that hard. They toss them. Be it over or under hand. Most do over hand tossing. So it's not like someone threw it like you would a baseball.
That first one, the human blender, reminds me of Lars Mittank that got injured by a punch and got meds for his perforated eardrum that turns out he didn't take. He got more and more paranoid that a group was out to kill him and before taking the plane home, just took off and ran and no one saw him again.
The chap that slipped and drowned in the cat bowl, you stated only two days before he was due to have an operation, either you meant two days after or his operation was cancelled. .... which being in the UK would not surprise me!
Absolutely love this series, Tragedy Tales! While these events are certainly tragic, it is incredibly intriguing to hear about some of the inexplicable ways in which people meet their demise. Thanks for sharing these with us, my friend. Looking forward to hearing about more of these mysterious and/or bizarre cases in the future. Keep up the great work, kind sir!
Hey guys! If you're after a manta sleep mask for yourself, use this link! - bit.ly/3NxQ0tt Also, may as well use code 'tragedy' for 10% off. PS I have somehow got the dates mixed up on the chair incident, it happened in March 9, 2018 and the court case was concluded in 2021. Hope you enjoyed this video! See you next week!
Excellent use of the word macabre, i love a good word, and many people these days have forgotten words like that, hell nobody even really knows what a thesaurus is these days.
In the first story it is obvious that man was on PCP.... When a person is on the drug..PCP they have super strength and feel no pain hence the reason he easily over powered the 3 men, wasnt feeling injured after the car crash and why he jumped into the engine of the plane....so dont do drugs kids
Last one just sounds like textbook hypothermia. Probably sustained a superficial injury and became disoriented from pain or blood loss, and as dark set in looked for shelter in the cabin. After hypothermia took hold, he would've removed his clothes, and at that point would've been deranged enough to do something like block himself in a chimney
The missing medicine in the 1 one, was most likely antipsychotics of some sort. The last one with the young man disappearing, I fully understand why the family was skeptic about the cause of death - the official explanation doesn't sound plausible. Two scenarios could've happened: 1. He entered the cabin, and got surprised by a couple of squatters, already in there. They didn't want him to leave, afraid he would snitch on them and things went out of hand and he died. The more sinister, much darker explanation: They deliberately killed the young man after having their way with him, hence the naked body, and afterwards shoved him up the chimney to hide his body ( yeah I know, I've seen "Deliverance" way too many times!) 2. He was entering the cabin and got caught by the owner, or someone the owner knew, and the punishment went out of control, and he died, that do not explain why he was naked, but it could explain why the owner hadn't been at the cabin for at least 7 years. He knew what he would find.
The 1st story was Psychosis and drugs..hard drugs. (Delusions, visions and voices in his head..) This is not JUST alcohol. Medication also loses the effects with alcohol, mixed with drugs leads to the unthinkable. Always have a friends to keep track of what goes into you and anyone around you must know your mental health to help control outbursts and make sure harm doesn't go into plan. I have seen the worst in people from this combination and always stay away from the worst on vacation. (Except buffets..and dancefloors)
The movie theater chair one grossed me out thinking, _who in their right mind would crawl on the sticky disgusting floor?!_ I'd have gotten up and gone round to the aisle behind where I'd been sitting before getting on my hands & knees on the floor of a _movie theater._ 😄
The first story, I'm from Trinidad and Tobago and that one really shook us up. We are so not used to things like that here. Really sad circumstances there, still not sure why he did that
Woah! I had a grandfather die by drowning in the cat's water dish too! He'd had a heart attack & fell in the kitchen. When my grandmother found him, he was face down in the cat's water dish & she didn't know CPR. It was later found that if he hadn't drowned, he likely would have died from the heart attack anyway. But still, it was way weird. My poor grandmother was never "right" again after that.
These are all horrifying but I never knew you could die from bathing in alcohol. The only thing I don't get in that story is why anyone would bathe for 12 hours. She'd probably have been fine if she'd only gone in for under 1
I remember visiting my friend's mortuary. The people all looked like they should just get-up and leave. It was extremely erie. The things that you'll witness in a mortuary you will never believe. These people were so very life like that I realized then and there just how fragile and transient life really was. Pictures on the wall were these people 'in life'. This was so that the person could be well prepared for viewing. The enormous home was a literal maze of hallways, rooms, and stories. The experience scared me, it scared me for life.
That suicide case with the plane engine. The brain is a combination of many different individual parts working together to create one state. It's just horrifying what those combinations if altered can do especially the you are right signal being attached to a random set.
I’ve heard the last story about the chimney many times and it’s seems obvious to me that this is what happened: kid goes down chimney to get inside house. He gets stuck and out of desperation he takes clothes off to make himself a little smaller. He drops clothes down. Someone at a later date goes into house thru the door. Sees the clothes and folds them. He replaces the bar and then leaves likely never knowing someone is in the chimney. Doesn’t this seem like the most likely scenario?
Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view !" Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam ." Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!" Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment ?"
Just found your channel great content bro you explain every clearly and are easy to listen to. Very good investigation into these bizarre and tragic deaths! Keep it up

Who told you about the tortise shell? I didn't think anyone saw me throw it.. I mean that one guy throw it not me.. 😨 I really thought the Ethanol bath one was going to have something to do with fire or a candle setting her on fire somehow for sure, very surprised.
7:54 I remember S.A.R.S. In high school, after witnessing 9/11 (home sick from school that day turned on the t.v - wild ) everyone was running around buying chicken soup and Gatorade bc that was apparently the cure 😂dear lord I thought .. everything was better in the 80’s 😂 R.I.P. Everyone ❤ childless cat lady 😂
I can't stop watching all your videos. Some literally make my stomach turn or give me anxiety I did not know about. Also, always check the chimney and it is never a mannequin..
