The thing I love about jam bands like Mars Volta or Led Zeppelin or whatevs. Is the bootlegs give you endless treasures to uncover. These bands were so inspired and so improvisational that every show has something new for you to hear.

He’s a prodigy who’s been playing drums since he was like 3 years old. He had probably practiced more in 15 years than others have in their entire lifetime! That’s how you get stamina lol

Hey man i feel ya, I thought I missed out on at the drive in, but then they got back together and I got another chance to see em and I did. Don’t lose hope, same thing can happen to you, especially since Mars Volta is gonna put out a new album

I have to get permission to post the audio. The taper originally only shared it to be synced with the video. I'll work on getting permission in the next couple of days and will get back with you. Bad things is, unless we get a new copy of the source material it's only going to be 192 kbps lossy and is going to have edits in between some of the tracks.

@@brucebyrone I'm hoping to eventually get a flac copy of the source to share, but I honestly don't know if it will ever happen. The show was taped by Martin M. and he typically only released his recordings as lossy. The WAV files were originally shared with flipzoso to make the DVD that was available 10+ years ago. Unfortunately the source audio has since been lost and I haven't been able to get in contact with Martin to try and get the WAV files. Fingers crossed, though, that eventually we'll have it. It's definitely one of the best recordings of this era. Martin knew what he was doing and always released top notch recordings!
