All of those boxsets are great looking sets, Keith. I will have to check out the Mad Max one, I haven't seen that. As for the Matrix, I've only ever seen the first one and really don't remember too much about it. I did buy it on vhs back in the day and never took it out the wrapper. I love the bullet going through the spines of the dvd covers.

Love these sets when they put the Steelbooks in those soft spongy separators 👌👌 it's the way to protect these editions to the max 👌👌 nice looking set, I like the first one and the the second and third one weren't too bad.....not really going to check out the fourth one though Keith 🥴😊 good tip about Amazon Italy!! Not many people know this but Amazon has a built in feature to lower prices on listings automatically if the seller has this setting enabled. Once the item is purchased at whatever price point by someone (no matter the quantity available) the price goes back up to the original pricing and the "timer" resets. This is why you should always utilize wishlists and check them occasionally for price drops.

Wow, that set is stunning love the white metal box !! The Steelbooks are gorgeous, The first 3 movies are my favorites I didn't think much of the most recent one terrible film didn't make any sense. I'm tempted but I've spent so much in the last week but i do like the look of the hunger games 4 disc SB set for 50 Euro

got mine from amazon italy, small little dent in it but nothing to cry over. Enjoy the first 3 movies and watched the last one for first time, it was ok, will take another watch before I can make up mind on it

Really really nice looking SteelBook Boxset. I watched the 2021 re-release of The Matrix in IMAX with Laser then a few months later The Matrix Resurrections on Xmas Eve. Enjoyed both. I know the fourth movie gets a lot of hate but I thought it was as good as could be expected and certainly better than the previous instalment. The 4K UHD Blu-ray is crispy!

Great pick up Keith! Damn nice box set for sure! I would have jumped on it if I didn't already have so many copies of the trilogy. lol. I have it on vcd, vhs, 2 sets of dvd, 2 copies of blu ray, and 4k blu ray.

I love those WB tin boxsets, I have Mad Max, Harry Potter, LOTR, The Hobbit and Jurassic World collection. I think the Matrix set looks really nice too and will pick up a copy, maybe if it is on sale after XMas.

I also enjoyed the trilogy two thumbs up.

Wasn't sure about the white background but have to admit: solid artwork and a really solid box. I didn't like the fourth entry into the series, either, the production seemed to me like purely money driven and missing out on energy and vision (not to mention the slight hints of ideology that I could live without). Amazon Italy is always on my radar. Just right now, the Jurassic World Collection Steelbook is in the double-digit zone. 😁

Very nice Keith, I think I remembered mentioning it to you at the end of black Friday sales when I was looking through amazon Italy. What a great price aswell, I was the same as you, underwhelmed when I saw pictures but saw it unboxed and changed my perception straight away. Amazon Italy are pretty much heroes for steelbook collectors.

It's crazy how Amazon Italy is throwing with the prices. I'm checking it every day now. Crazy because the difference with the other Amazons is enormous. Got that TOC Matrix edition for 14,99 euro on Amazon Italy. Not a big fan of TOC, but I really dig that artwork and for that price it's a bargain and really worth the money. I see the Jurassic World boxset is 108 euro right now. But I still don't like the artwork on that set and those last two movies are pure garbage unfortunately. But I'm in your camp with the waiting game. For another 20 euro off it would be a steal. My favorite Warner Bros sets are the Hobbit and LOTR. That artwork is georgious and classy. I don't know if you're a fan of Dragon Ball (original, Z or Super), but Zavvi had a similar boxset as the WB ones and that boxset is amazing too with ten steelbooks in it. Do you showcase all these similar boxsets together or just organized by genre?

Great video! How do create such a pretty Steel and then pollute it with those stupid printed credits on the back. Not to mention how the 4th film pollutes the franchise.

Possibly dumb question here... What language are these disks in? Are they in original English? I assume so. I ask because i see a very nice looking Back to the Future Steelbook collection, but it's listed as "in italian" on Amazon but maybe that's just a mistake. The Steelbooks in Amazon Italy look very nice!!

Do any of these box sets ever arrive dented from amazon? I bought/received The Hobbit, Mad max, the matrix, and Godzilla box sets. Only one of these arrived undamaged. I received the reprinted lord of the rings set today and surprise, surprise that arrived dented too. Zavvi really are a joke 😕

there has never been a sequel to the original matrix! just like to from dusk till dawn or american psycho… one original. thats it! 🙈🙉🙊 nice boxset though and thanks for the unboxing. too bad they wasted all that metal on this bootlegs! 🐇

Wow 60 Euros that's a bargain

Drives me nuts that they use the image of a cat on most of the artwork for the cases. That's from the scene in the movie that doesn't make sense. Neo sees a cat and 2 seconds later sees it again and says "deja Vu". THAT'S NOT HOW Deja Vu WORKS. Deja Vu is the feeling that you've been here before or you did this before, but not 2 seconds ago.

To be honest, i didn't dislike the Matrix 4 at all. Quality wise it's a reference disc as well!. Not to fond of the white matrix box though. I already own the first editions in green so i will not double dip this time.

Anything after part 1 is trash.

Wonderful boxset I'm not usually a fan of white Steelbooks but the code running through the looks fantastic 👌 👍 Resurrections on a rewatch is ok I just think the ending could have been so much better and Lawrence Fishbourne and Hugo Weaving should have been in the film as well.
