I believe that The Mavericks are so underrated. Raul Malo was even more underrated as a solo performer. They deserve more credit than they get.

Raul Malo at times sounds like the reincarnation of Roy Orbison, and the Mavericks' songs often invoke reflections of that era. The middle eight on this is simply perfect. Throw in a lovely girl to look at, and you've got a great video, one of their last hits.

How can you not love the man that made all these things true for me.
